He does ads for games, likely because he enjoys games, and he is able to draw inspiration for raps from games better than other things, and his raps and ability are just good to the point where game companies actually pay him to do what he enjoys anyways. It is clear to see that he loves what he does, and he does it in the highest of qualities, way better than actual sellouts in mainstream media, so why not use that talent to get payed more for what you do?
