best part about the line is that it shows just how well dan understands dark souls. the fire is sustained by the humanity in the world, which itself makes the abyss. the darkness in the world is that makes things human, and that very darkness is what keep the light going.

He does ads for games, likely because he enjoys games, and he is able to draw inspiration for raps from games better than other things, and his raps and ability are just good to the point where game companies actually pay him to do what he enjoys anyways. It is clear to see that he loves what he does, and he does it in the highest of qualities, way better than actual sellouts in mainstream media, so why not use that talent to get payed more for what you do? There is nothing wrong with trying to make money, it is how the world fucking works, getting money is required in this (first) world, and I am sorry, but you are going to have to as well. Whether you are selling out to a convenient store, or video game companies, you still need money somewhere. Despite I myself knowing what love is like and happiness at a huge amount I find it difficult to put it on paper. Where as talking about dark subjects is easy. However I used to suffer from depression and I've always wondered if that would have anything to do with why its hard to write about happy things and easy to write about sad things. At a subconscious level my brain is still adjusting.
