Oh Fran, sending you hugs. I’m in the same position with my childhood home, it’s really hard isn’t it. It feels wrong to throw/give away so much stuff. I took a load of my dad’s clothes to a charity shop and sobbed all the way home. I have kept some shirts to make a quilt out of, when I can face doing it that is😢.But we still have the memories and my brother and I have had some laughs whilst sorting. Glad you had a good time at the retreat, we all need a lay family retreat at least once a year don’t we. Take care 😘
Lots of hugs during this emotional time. I recently saw the same knitted guy in someones house - except he was a painter. There must have been a collection of them back in the day. Gorgeous yarn from the retreat and wow, what a lovely collection of minis - they'd look amazing in a sweet shop blanket 👌💕xx

I always enjoy your videos Fran. I love the idea of magic heel socks for growing kiddos. I might try that for some of my grandkids. My heart goes out to you as you transition the ownership of your parents’ house, it is a very special and emotional time. I remembered some of the memories I have with my brothers when we closed up my parents’ house too. Hugs to you and your sister.

It's good to have sometime relaxing that's just for you. Something you do just for pleasure.❤ 😻 awww your clown brought back memories, the first pattern I ever knitted was a Jean greenhow Christmas penguin 🐧 in a a green and red stripy hat!😹 I was about 12 and so pleased with myself!😹❄❄

Yes we had a painter and a gardener too that my nana had made but I had to just choose one!

Sorry lovey but I’ve not made the lento. This was a Tolsta . I think the lento is Dk weight so bulky might be too thick
