I watched this video before reading the blurb, and I was thinking of the Ghostbusters when I first saw the fire house. So it really is the Ghostbusters house. Amazing. Hands up those who wish they could live in a converted fire house.
Man, just getting to learn all the codes and names for everything in the FDNY must be like a university degree program !!! I don't get it. I prefer a nice, A-B-C structured system, lol..also, the only fire dept I ever see leaving quarters like they do, with the guys walking out onto the sidewalk and street, the truck gets out of quarters, then the guys get on.
Late reply, but this is a Class III alarm, these calls aren’t really that big of a deal. Watch us leave house when it comes across as multiple calls or smoke/flames showing
Just to let you know the new rigs make me cringe >:0[ I like seeing the old ones responding better. But I like the new rescues because they have real q sirens
Ghostbusters house yeeeaaa ! ;-) god bless the guys from Ladder 8 on every run ! ;-)

Mark Fryer ✋🏼
I wonder if whomever called in the alarm was told "Oh, they'll be totally discreet!"?
WE'VE GOT ONE!!!!
I was there in summer 2015. It's no longer the run down area of New York displayed in Ghostbusters. :)
That fire house is awesome.
Very nice
The Bossman that comes down the pole looks like he was up in his quarters getting buttoned-up :-)
*Where is ecto-1?*
the ghostbusters firehouse :)
Who ya gonna call? How long did you wait for a run? Great catch!
1:18 I'm wondering what that noise was I can tell it kinda startled you
I think the chauffeur squawked the PA on the rig for a second
Oh Okay

Has FDNY ever responded to a Class III alarm that turned out to be an actual emergency?
WHO YOU GONNA CALL? FIRE BUSTERS
I want to buy this hook and ladder to restoration it for ghostbusters for the public
I think this building should be condemned.
When can we move in!
"LET´S CROSS SOME RED LIGHTS!"
Latsch82 so would you rather them wait at the red light while your house is burning down
riding with the pto on
talk about slow getting out of the hall, just over 2 min to get everyone on board and moving. seems to be the norm for NY
***** that is very slow ! we have 60 seconds day and night to get the truck out of the station and on the run ! ;-)

They are waiting for the air pressure to build up in the brakes. Because being able to stop a 50,000 pound fire apparatus is kind of important.
they went down the street like a bullet
Just to let you know the new rigs make me cringe >:0[ I like seeing the old ones responding better. But I like the new rescues because they have real q sirens
The rescues don't come with a q. The members buy and put it on.
Sure takes them a long time to get out the door
That was a long startup
