First look at the 2025 M850i xDrive Gran Coupe in Portimao Blue | 4K

Is this possibly the last model year for the 8 Series? Our first model year 2025 arrives and is finished in Portimao Blue over Cognac merino leather.
The M Performance version of the 8 Series Gran Coupe comes with the S68 4.4 liter V8 twin-turbo engine good for 523 horsepower and 553 torques and a mild hybrid set up. Is this the goldilocks 8er?

These cars are going to be very sought after as the last BMWs to retain iDrive 7 with physical climate controls and the V8 engine outside of the M5 application. This is a real GT car.

Nope, this is the 2025 (which is the same as the 2024 except for price). US market is Model Year 2025, YMMV with other markets.
Also, take a look at 5:50 into the video for the sticker that clearly shows 2025.

@@BMWofMountainViewGeniuses I am writing from Italy and obviously I don't know the strategies of the U.S. market, but I can tell you this: I own a BMW Msport 840i xdrive GranCoupe, purchased in January 2023 and I am waiting for the presentation of the 2025 model which will be equipped with the new curved display dashboard and with the BMW 8.5 operating system. I have already signed up to the shopping list.
I confirm that the model in the video is absolutely identical to mine from 2023. Sorry but the writing on an advertising papyrus has nothing to do with the real version of the car. Then I don't know what to say about the trade policies of US sellers
