Sorry if it was a bit confusing but I believe I said the size and frame are concerning but that his play making ability and arm efficiency where what checked a lot of boxes. You are correct that the most concerning thing is his frame and durability especially in a 17 game season. I think if structured properly in the right system he can learn to avoid hits and make it for the long haul. Thank you for your question !
He has a similar frame to Russ & Kyler. Not too much different than Brees either. And what injury history? He started every game since being the starter the last 2 yrs
@@djmingia0981 There is a lot of hype around Levis and Richardson based on highlight film and their physicality. But the numbers tell a different story. They would require a lot of development in the NFL. (In fact, there are more efficient backup QB's in the NFL already compared to these two.) Hooker was very efficient and would have been a first rounder if it wasn't for his injury. ACL can be rehabbed and a QB can return in good order with proper care. (Tom Brady, for example, had an ACL/MCL injury and it didn't stop his great career.) There are plenty of NFL teams that play a style where a healthy Hooker would fit in. Duggan has efficient numbers and made TCU relevant solely on his skills. His status dropped purely on his play in the final game against Georgia. That one game doesn't belie the underlying talent.
@@stephenbailey9969 That was a nice response but what I'm telling you is where they're projected currently by actual NFL team scouts and execs. And Hookers projection has very little to do with his injury and everything to do with his age and college offense and play. Hooker is very much a bigger project than Levis and Richardson. Their college stats are almost meaningless in this conversation. Pertaining to Duggan. He offers basically zero even above average QB traits on top of a very mediocre Senior Bowl week. Hence where he's currently ranked. Levis and Richardson are far superior prospects than both those guys.
@@djmingia0981 Sorry. I don't believe it. If team scouts and execs were so smart, then teams wouldn't have such pitiful seasons. They are running on group think. Richardson would make a good linebacker, but I wouldn't spend a dime on him as a QB. Hooker I would take a chance on. He shows ability to learn.
@@stephenbailey9969 I don't mean this as a slight so don't take it as one. But the issue is unless you're deep into scouting and know what you're looking for you won't understand which is why most casual fans or even the average fan doesn't understand the rankings. All you guys see are the box score stats which are almost meaningless when scouting a QB for the NFL. Mentally when it comes to going through reads, reading a defense pre and post snap. Hooker has way more work to do than both Levis and Richardson. What makes it worse is his advanced age of being a 25 yr old rookie but still being that mentally inept. A lot of it has to do with Tennessee's offensive scheme. You don't have to agree. No skin off my back. I'm just telling you how it actually is. So when draft day comes and Hooker falls and Duggan falls even farther while Levis goes top 5-10 and Richardson goes anywhere from top 10-bottom of the 1st. This is why.

When’s sports betting coming to Ohio?
You said he checked all the boxes on his size? Isn't that the only thing holding him back from going #1? He's looks a lot smaller than any current starting nfl qb. Plus, he already has an injury history.
Levis has a far larger injury history than Bryce.
He has a similar frame to Russ & Kyler. Not too much different than Brees either. And what injury history? He started every game since being the starter the last 2 yrs
@@lnss8775 ur right about everything but I’m pretty sure he missed 1 and a half game this year because of his arm
@@lnss8775 No he doesn’t. He weighs like, 20ish lbs less than both of them.
Should have never traded McCaffrey with out securing at least one I would say two 1st round picks. Just my 2 cents. Go Panthers!
Panthers fan here, we got the better end of the trade. RB hardly go in the 1st rd anymore.
You can’t get 2 much less 1 1st round pick for RB. DUMB FUCKING COMMENT FROM YOU Bedford!!!
Watching LSU film is a little unfair because he's nowhere near 100 percent.
You need to watch him against lsu or Georgia last season with nfl calibre defense
Young. Stroud. Or Richardson. I'll be happy with any of em. Heavy lies the #1 though. Panthers pick to mess up...
CJ Stroud
done
Will Anderson
Well this video just exposed there #1 pick. Mr Bryce Young
This definitely an owners pick
Tier One: Stroud, Young
Tier Two: Hooker, Duggan
Long term projects: Levis, Richardson
Levis and Richardson are considered 1st rounders/top 10 picks while Hooker and Duggan are currently projected 3rd round to day 3
@@djmingia0981 There is a lot of hype around Levis and Richardson based on highlight film and their physicality. But the numbers tell a different story. They would require a lot of development in the NFL. (In fact, there are more efficient backup QB's in the NFL already compared to these two.)
Hooker was very efficient and would have been a first rounder if it wasn't for his injury.
