    As a Bama fan, watching Hurts, Tua, Mac, and now Bryce, the evolution of the talent at the position is ridiculous. Watching Bryce was like watching Rodgers at times. And Bryce didn’t have the WR talent around him that the previous 3 did, and still looked like the best of the bunch as a pure QB. Dude is gonna be a stellar pro.

    Bryce Young has expressed with his play that he's advanced, and has consistently shown his intelligence ability to command, and direct a pro style offense.
    This is what makes him an attractive candidate. That same attribute was in my opinion developed naturally by having to overcome his physical attributes such as height, weight, and body frame.
    He's advanced his game so much that he's quite ready for this next level. Josh McCown's breakdown in finding, and isolating those plays are terrific examples of all of this.
    So very nice job to Josh McCown for this. His expertise is appreciated. Thanks so much, look forward to the breakdown of the other QB's in this upcoming draft.

    I honestly believe that Bryce is the true #1 pick. Your getting so much more out of him mentally because we already know the talent is there. He has the small frame, but that adversity is like a chip on his shoulder because anything the big guy can do he can do better. No offense to CJ or those that think he is the correct pick, but I just see a lot of Patrick Mahomes in this guy, someone who makes a super bowl run or hopefully a win!

      Bryce lost both of his starting WRs and Bama had to go to the backups who did not perform at the level needed to win. Alabama wins the game if both starting WRs were in the game. Remember Bama played Georgia three weeks earlier in the SEC Championship Game, and Byrce destroyed Georgia.

    I love Stroud and kinda see him fitting into the Panthers better but a part of me feel like Bryce knowledge of the game is gonna win the Panthers over .. I know his size is a concern but he's no Baker Mayfield and he plays like he's bigger and can see the middle of the field and find holes in defenses .. he's so polarizing to watch when it comes to decision making is top tier and maybe one of the smartest QBs we've ever seen coming out of college

    Bryce Young and Anthony Richardson will be the top 2 QB's from this year's draft in a few years. I'll even go one step further and guarantee Bryce Young will be the first QB to win a Super Bowl for the Carolina Panthers. And Anthony Richardson will win a league MVP somewhere in his first 5 seasons in the league.

      @joshmccown7644 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      Sorry if it was a bit confusing but I believe I said the size and frame are concerning but that his play making ability and arm efficiency where what checked a lot of boxes. You are correct that the most concerning thing is his frame and durability especially in a 17 game season. I think if structured properly in the right system he can learn to avoid hits and make it for the long haul. Thank you for your question !

    Tier Two: Hooker, Duggan
    Long term projects: Levis, Richardson

    • @djmingia0981
      @djmingia0981 ปีที่แล้ว

      Levis and Richardson are considered 1st rounders/top 10 picks while Hooker and Duggan are currently projected 3rd round to day 3

    • @stephenbailey9969
      @stephenbailey9969 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@djmingia0981 There is a lot of hype around Levis and Richardson based on highlight film and their physicality. But the numbers tell a different story. They would require a lot of development in the NFL. (In fact, there are more efficient backup QB's in the NFL already compared to these two.)
      Hooker was very efficient and would have been a first rounder if it wasn't for his injury. ACL can be rehabbed and a QB can return in good order with proper care. (Tom Brady, for example, had an ACL/MCL injury and it didn't stop his great career.) There are plenty of NFL teams that play a style where a healthy Hooker would fit in.
      Duggan has efficient numbers and made TCU relevant solely on his skills. His status dropped purely on his play in the final game against Georgia. That one game doesn't belie the underlying talent.

    • @djmingia0981
      @djmingia0981 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@stephenbailey9969 That was a nice response but what I'm telling you is where they're projected currently by actual NFL team scouts and execs. And Hookers projection has very little to do with his injury and everything to do with his age and college offense and play. Hooker is very much a bigger project than Levis and Richardson. Their college stats are almost meaningless in this conversation. Pertaining to Duggan. He offers basically zero even above average QB traits on top of a very mediocre Senior Bowl week. Hence where he's currently ranked.
      Levis and Richardson are far superior prospects than both those guys.

    • @stephenbailey9969
      @stephenbailey9969 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@djmingia0981 Sorry. I don't believe it. If team scouts and execs were so smart, then teams wouldn't have such pitiful seasons.
      They are running on group think.
      Richardson would make a good linebacker, but I wouldn't spend a dime on him as a QB.
      Hooker I would take a chance on. He shows ability to learn.

    • @djmingia0981
      @djmingia0981 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@stephenbailey9969 I don't mean this as a slight so don't take it as one. But the issue is unless you're deep into scouting and know what you're looking for you won't understand which is why most casual fans or even the average fan doesn't understand the rankings. All you guys see are the box score stats which are almost meaningless when scouting a QB for the NFL.
      Mentally when it comes to going through reads, reading a defense pre and post snap. Hooker has way more work to do than both Levis and Richardson. What makes it worse is his advanced age of being a 25 yr old rookie but still being that mentally inept. A lot of it has to do with Tennessee's offensive scheme.
      You don't have to agree. No skin off my back. I'm just telling you how it actually is. So when draft day comes and Hooker falls and Duggan falls even farther while Levis goes top 5-10 and Richardson goes anywhere from top 10-bottom of the 1st. This is why.
