Needs a Dumbo XF6F remote control, it will benefit from the receiver with Gyro, as well as instant response time, and about 900ft reception. A good $38 investment
Definitely a cheaper option and is good personally on these I prefer to keep the Spektrum stuff so I have the full telemetry on my remote I do wish the avc receivers were cheaper

30:02 what it is is user error. You sir cannot handle the gobs of power that this incredibly well designed built like a tank RC has to offer. Therefore, you should take a note out of the Traxxas handbook. Reduce it to 2s and run it on 70% until you gain the necessary driving skills to achieve maximum effort

I thought I heard someone say that rubber on the wheel or the tight screw makes the steering wheel stick in another video .
I checked the foam was not hitting and it would free up then get tight again I am going to throw a dumbo receiver in it and use that setup like I do most of my cars if nothing else it simplifies my life with less remotes 😁😁
My transmitter wheel for the H14BM did the same thing. I'd have to press it in (push the wheel towards the body of the transmitter, like hold the transmitter between my hands like i was praying, and push the wheel in) and you'd hear a little click, and it'd be free moving again, for awhile. Too loose tolerances for the plastic ?
Anyway, according to what I've seen on the private MJX 10th scale Facebook group, there was no 1.1 version, and reviewers got the same truck that went on sale to the general public. There will apparently be a revision (2.0) in October.
But there was so much back and forth of "they said this", "no they said that"
But i also saw on the Arrma Forums that same thing of: "there was no version 1.1, everyone got the same truck, early or not.
That is the info I have heard to they really should send them out let reviewers try it then fix it before the release. I put this on the Dumbo transmitter not fighting the one it came with lol

Good video man. I’ve not convinced. Found the 14210 to be terrible and this looks to have most of the same issues. By the time you’ve bought new rx rx, new tyres, hex extenders etc you mat as well have spent the money on a known brand. Cheap Chinese cars are not cheap any more
I dont feel like this needs any parts just issues with the parts on there being over thread locked and the body latch needs to be fixed. That being said it is over priced the app is cool but they are getting carried away with pricing. I appreciate you watching and the comment hope you stick around for all the rc action.
Full disclosure, I have not tried this model. I do have the MJX Hyper Go 1/16 scale, and it is okay. The wheelbase is a bit short. However, after watching this honest review, I think a guy would be better off going for the Rlaarlo Omni Terminator Carbon Fiber edition. I have Traxxas Slash tires on my Omni Terminator, and it is a lot of fun in the backyard!
Thank you for watching, the Omni terminator has a short wheelbase as well thats why its not as stable as it coud be but that being said I agree its a way better rc I really have no complaints with it except the remote is a bit much like the gyro is over complicated to tune and oher stuff that is not needed i ge asked a lot on how to unlock the transmitter lol and no tuning of the esc sucks it would be nice to turn the brakes down a bit. If I had to choose between them I would say the Rlaarlo all day long
Nice review. I was dissapointed with mine. Crapy remote, crapy tires, crapy quick release, hard to control! I have sold it already and got the maverick quantum 2 mt. I am absolutely with my decission!

Seems like you're just having bad bad luck with this one! Not every truck is the same, tolerances and so forth. I get it! But man, you're having a rough time with this one.
One thing snowballed into another lol first that pin then the chassis brace thats why I am trying to give it a chance I know from fellow creators the over glued parts are not unique to me but the pin breaking is I literally only ever drove it on this video and on the street before any jumps you can hear the pin giving up and thats what it had to be because after I fixed it no more noise. Sometimes it happens a bad part or someone put it together wrong on the assembly.

Ya I think it's different from everyone some will be good and some will have issues I've had issues with my old ones but ya the remote try loosening the screw abit and sometimes the foam will move to close to the back making it stick.....
@justinfolster2278 I kept checking the foam wasn't hitting it. And the remote would randomly sticknone minute it would spring back the next it would bind again. Its ok I only use the original for the review I will put this on my dumbo so I dont have to chase 50 remotes lol
Same here bro - I snapped the center brace screw, and I was only able to open 1 screw on my center diff as it has red Loctite.
I wish I thought of this sooner try a JIS screwdriver (Japanese industrial standard) I have a kit by Tamiya that has some in it wow what a difference for grabbing screws heat the diff up I use a heat gun then use a JIS philips you might have better luck

Great video! Thanks for the honesty 👍 My first Rc when I got back into the hobby was an MJX H14BM, and to be honest, I wasn't that impressed. The controller is awful. You can back that screw out just a bit on the steering wheel, and it should solve the sticking issue. My controller had the same problem. I don't think I would buy another MJX Hyper Go. Not after buying Arrma's 😂 And I have the team corrally Asuga 6s XLR being delivered tomorrow. Super excited 🤙👍

I am done with the remote I only use what a car comes with for reviews so I can test the whole package but its weird it would work normal then go back to sticking yes its horrible lol. The Asuga is so nice I have one and love it! Having a buggy but with the ground clearance to jump and not get stuck on a twig lol I really like the size of it. Team Corally makes great stuff they just dont have the recognition they deserve
@L2theWcarscoffeelife I thought maybe they would have used a different transmitter with the larger scale RC. Maybe with the V2🤞🤷♂️ Definitely pumped to get my Asuga tomorrow! It will be my first buggy style RC. I think Corrally is really coming on strong for sure with the Asuga, spark, and synchro, and can't forget about the Kagama 😁👍 I'm kind of an Arrma fanboy and wanted to try something different. I was definitely drawn towards Team Corrally racing 👍 I have seen your video on the Asuga a couple of times, I believe 😁
I dont know why they dont use a dumbo like a lot of companies do especially when they are upping the price. I got back in the hobby and realized I have nothing but monster truck type stuff so I got the 6s Typhon then the Syncro4 and they are great but limited in rougher off road but are amazing track cars. The Asuga is bonkers lol It is this super sized buggy that can run about anywhere I definitely enjoy it and it looks amazing too The Kagama that one is crazy fast I dont know the secret but wow the power comes on fast and brutal it is a total beast!

The heat sensors are the internal heat temps “at” the sensor… the external temp will always be higher at the outside of the can/esc… I just looked it up😳
I guess it depends where the sensor is at I know on Traxxas its between the motor and the heatsink so you actually get motor temps on some models not sure where they put it on the esc thats the only temp you get with the app is esc temps
