Swimming with a Southern Right Whale

I was watching from North Curl Curl Beach until I finally decided to race back home and get the camera. It was so peaceful and friendly, just kept coming up out of the water to say hello. At one point it swam right underneath me. It was very aware of us and seemed to enjoy the company on it's migration from Antarctica. On top of that there was a great feeling of unity between all the people out their swimming with the whale. Truly a magical experience.
