@@jeffc1736 Thanks! And in NYC? Honestly, we haven't gone to enough Omakase in the city to give you a proper recommendation. We did go to Shiki Omakase in NYC, and it's about $100 with additional add ons, and it was enjoyable! But we haven't been to any others in that price range so we can't compare! I'm sure there are some great options out there though!! Enjoy!!
I stumbled upon your channel last week and wanted to say how much I appreciate the quality, cinematography, and in depth experience reviews. Exquisite stuff. Keep up the great work! You guys deserve well over 100K subscribers, and I'm sure you'll get there in no time. 💜
Wow wow wow wow wow! Love love love love love! I’m most interested in the sea cucumber dish, in my hometown in china, I grew up eating rehydrated dehydrated sea cucumber daily in the morning; the amount of fresh truffle they use!!! And somehow, idk why, this video reminded me a lot of the Joji video u guys made, where was also the very first video I watched of yours; we had no Luck yesterday when making reservations for august of atomix, but I will keep trying; and we r going to crown shy tonight for friend’s birthday, can’t wait! I truly love the style of editing of you guys’ videos! Have an amazing Sunday. ❤❤❤
Thanks so much!! How was Crown Shy?? And yeah the sea cucumber dish was one of our favourites of the night (along with the scallop and the Yuja ice cream). It was so unique (for us) but I'm sure nostalgic for you! Good luck getting a reservation, I imagine it's going to be so hard now with their recent World's 50 Best announcement!
@@S3Lifestyle crown shy was amazing. We had dinner so celebrate our friend’s birthday; we also got to see Saga layout and have drinks at overstory wrapped around balcony. I’m determined for atomix, if still no luck, I’m considering 12 seats buyout 2 months in advance; I watched the atomix video of u guys again lol, envy envy envy! Have a wonderful day. 🥰🥰🥰😆😆😆
It was a bit of an impromptu decision, as we randomly put ourselves on the waitlist not thinking we'd get a spot and luckily securing it only an hour later haha! So we made the last minute trip down to NYC!
your videos are very skillfully put together, the pacing, transition, camera works. hope the algorithm treat you well and recommend it to more audience.
@@Worldgonemad A few or every one? Man I wish I went to a restaurant and loved everything restaurant after restaurant.. my point is when you are providing content it gets old too see someone always loving everything. It comes off as disingenuous even if she really loves everything
Another great video. I like the combination of footage with your insights. And I think it is interesting that Korean food is so hot right now. I suggest your visit Koan in Copenhagen.
Right? Korean food is definitely making a huge wave in the culinary scene. Great suggestion, we are very interested in trying Koan, we're very intrigued to try their menu! As always, thanks so much for watching and commenting!

Best in NORTH America..not just America..welcome back to NYC..wish we could have gotten together for dinner..I dropped by Luthun recently and they were so appreciative that I encouraged you two to film there..I was wondering how your progress is going on visiting The DeBruce.. hope to meet you both someday 😊
Yes you're right, best in North America! Unfortunately, we didn't spend any time in NYC outside of this dinner, it was a very quick in and out, film and go situation haha. Yeah thanks again for the Luthun recommendation! As for The DeBruce, seems that's not going through... we found ourselves in a bit of a ghosted situation, oh well. Hope to meet you too, when the stars align!
@@S3Lifestyle too bad about The DeBruce..oh well..their loss..I'm actually going to Atomix in August..could only secure the bar tasting menu..but the bar is where they test out new dishes in development on their customers and the beverages are included..so it should still be eye opening..ok..feel free to reach out to me next time in the city..would love to meet you both
Great video once again! Have to admit that the food itself looks a little underwhelming compared to what I was expecting from #8 in the world. The AR menu cards also seem a little....extra
i wish more restaurants would not serve the same concepts over and over again. every fine dining place at this point serves some form of a tart to begin. caviar. uni. truffle. wagyu. pine. spruce. the list goes on. at some point its the same set w maybe a few different garnishes but it’s very much the same line up no matter where u r in the world at this point. we r at the “here’s the exact list of ingredients everyone else uses now we will add a few flourishes of our own but the menu will be pretty recognizable in how it brings to how it ends regardless if ur in tokyo to paris to nyc to australia etc” i’m not knocking it, i just think after a while it becomes less interesting to know the flow of a meal and what ur most likely going to get before walking through the doors and in the fine dining space that is what it’s become.
Oh we totally agree, most places seem to use your standard fine dining quality ingredients and dishes. We often encounter many of the same 'dishes' but most of the time, not all, the preparation and flavour profile is so unique that we're still getting a novel experience and trying new concepts! But like you said, there have been a few cases where you're getting what you expect, haha. For us, it's really the impact of the whole experience that makes it feel different from restaurant to restaurant. Thanks for sharing your thoughts though, and we totally get where you're coming from!
Your work is improving. Excellent job on another great video!
Thanks so much!! We're definitely learning a lot and always trying to improve and do better :) Thanks for the positive feedback!

Thanks so much Abyy! Always appreciate it :)

Thanks too! :) And thanks for all your recent London recommendations!!

Thanks so much! :)
Appreciate the honest comments from him. She just loves everything but we know in life this can’t be true
Maybe not in life, but it can be true for a multi-course meal. Ive been to a few fine dining restaurants where I loved every dish.

You guys should check out Mäs in Ashland, Oregon. Not Michelin starred but well deserving of one.

Oh we used a track from Alexander Mack. He was kind enough to let us use it. We love it too!

Thanks! And I'll be honest, we definitely felt the same... only a few dishes we really enjoyed the rest of the menu fell very flat for us.
At $400 ahead, buddy better have gotten something extra special that night! 😂
The staff rushed you and dress like frumpy school teachers. Fascinating food should have fascinating servers.
so, basically a lot of truffles. :D

Water.... S.Pellegrino from Italy!
Best restaurant? My idea of best restaurant is the chipotle next to my dorm 💀
It’s more Japanese than Korean to be honest 😂
I don’t think so

Haha, love it!! Thanks!
All the dishes look bland and far to elaborate…
Even the presenters are trying way hard to put on a nice face…
Looks like an airport lounge 🤷♂️
