I am about a day away from my first shipment of jewelry making supplies to come knocking, plus a paycheck away from buying more! This 4 video tutorial set is fantastic and has given me confidence before I embark on this new creative journey. Thank you for making these - and I am enjoying your other videos as well!
+hilldiggity Amazing! Awaiting jewelry supplies is so exciting. They must have come by now. Are you happy with them? Hope you are enjoying your making and glad you liked the videos. Jessica
+London Jewellery School I'm now addicted to buying beads! lol I made necklaces for the ladies in my family for our "Early" Christmas last weekend and they said they looked store bought! So I think I'm off to a good start. :)
Use to make some jewelry years ago, kids came & had no time. Kids r gone & needed ur classes to help me start again. The lovely instructor took her time & explained it beautifully !!! Thanks !
i cant wait to make some of this jewelry with my patients. they would enjoy it. this video tutorial from the part 1 to 4 is awesome and very easy to follow. thank you so much. can't wait to see your other videos.
VERY GREAT TEACHING! I make jewelry myself and I'm not a beginner, but these instructions are great and clear and I wish I saw this video when I was a beginner cause these videos tell you a lot about materials and how to use them so if you are a beginner this video is GREAT to watch! I HIGHLY recommend! A 10/10!!!!!!
I'm an absolute beginner and love the videos. So easy to follow. I've now made 2 pairs of earrings and 2 bracelets! I'll definitely be making more. Thank you!
I know this video isn't so recent but it helped me so much and same with the other videos. I'm so excited to make beautiful jewelry. Thank you for the guide of how to work with those tools/products.
So enjoyed your videos, very instructive, as an absolute beginner i found the videos easy to understand, at 77 years of age this is a new skill to learn
Wow! That was a very helpful series!!!!!!! Thanks for the hint of using your little finger to measure where to cut the head pin for making the loop! I have struggled with that for a long time. Now I know how long to cut it and have uniform loops. Yes. Fiddley is a good way of describing the way things get at times when your fingers seem a little to big for working the tiny details. Can’t wait to watch more of your helpful tutorials!
I've just started making my own jewelry because i've set up my own business selling it I've been making my own jewelry for a few years but only for myself and i got loads of complements so i decided to make a business out of it, The things i have made are simple with gemstones and people love them, I've come across your video in a serch on youtube and i fell inlove with it straite away, i've watched all four and ive learned so much i will be subbing and looking at your site too thankyou for putting this video up its really inspired me :)
Bought a basic jewellery making kit for fun and didn't know what some of the findings were. Thank you for the great videos. Can't wait to make more complicated pieces.
I certainly enjoyed your helpful starter tutorial on making jewelry so very much! I didn't know exactly where to start before. Thank you so very much! I wish you all of the best things coming ahead in 2022! I will be back to learn more from you, Marian.
Love all of these tutorials. I am new to jewelry making and have learnt lots from these videos. I have madly purchased all types of beads, findings and tools so hope I get the hang of making items!! Thank you for putting in the time to make these so we can learn.
+Laura P Hey Laura, thanks so much for the lovely comment and welcome to the world of jewellery making! I'm still addicted to buying beads and jewellery tools as you can make so many beautiful pieces with them. Do let us know if there is anything we can do to help with your jewellery making, Jessica :-) x
This is very useful, with a good attention to detail. Can i ask whether you would recommend using wire guards and crimp covers or do you think they're unnecessary?
I searched for jewelry making for beginners and found your video watched all four parts learned so much more than expected. Video very well done. My only wish is when you were closing the bracelets and necklace that I could see close up what you were doing. I have an idea, but really wanted that visual. Otherwise perfect videos the colors chosen was gorgeous. Thanks.
It was quite a while ago, but they look like ceramic beads that have a turquoise & howlite effect to them. Take a look at some of our recommended bead suppliers here www.jewellersacademy.com/jewellery-supplies Hope that helps! x
Hello, I am starting my jewelry business and I love your tutorials it's really helping. I do have a question. How were you able to put the wire back though the crimp, I'm having a bit of trouble?
Girlfriend! Thank you, so much! New hobby🎉 Just was looking to reassemble my granddaughters bracelet from when she was 2yrs! Learned so much, thank you for CONFIDENCE 🎉
Excellent videos; you have great timing and make it all sound so easy. Can you tell me please what sort of wire I order for the necklace? I know you said .4mm and not elastic but is there a particular name for it?! Thank you.
Hello, I really love your videos. They were easy to follow and very informative. I am trying jewelry making for the very first time and thanks to you I believe I will do well. Thank you be well
Thank you. Very helpful. I've been making jewelry for a few years now. I did learn some things I didn't know. I'd like to see your school one day. Ora Johnson, Denton, Texas, USA.
Wonderful videos! Very informative. I have learned a great deal watching them. Thank you so much for reaching out and showing people who are interested in getting started making jewelry a starting point. Looking forward to seeing more.
In Montreal we are in lockdown so finding this course was inspiring! Loved the instructor who explains clearly how to. Many thanks, I can't wait to try to make my own designs.

Hi, I am thinking of starting a business! Do you have any links for jewellery supplies? (Including the ones from the other parts of the beginner tutorial) I have found this so helpful as a beginner! Thank you so much!
is there any tips for making jewelry from precious stones and beads that do not have thread holes? I have a lot of them as my gifts; and they do not have holes. They are kind of medium size of 8 mm to tiny stones of 3mm. I am trying to find a way DIY with these stones into my own jewelry without poking holes through them, want to make necklace, earrings, rings, and bracelets for myself.
I liked your videos, but I guess I wonder why you don't use a crimper tool instead of the chain pliers? The crimper tool gives it a little cleaner look.
I like to show how it can be done with an essential tool, but you're right a crimper tool can also be used and will give a better finish. Thanks for sharing your tip! x
I am doing exactly what is shown, but my crimp is not fastening and slips off when I pull to check it is tight. I have bought sterling silver crimps but to no avail. I cannot continue until I have perfected crimping.
i actually add the clasp almost the same way but at the end where there is a bit of wire, i put it through cpl beads then cut it even with the bead..its out of the way ,neat and tidy and if something goes wrong, you still have that bit of length to fix the necklace problem if you need too.. Great video though.

You can do, it's a personal preference really. x
Lovely videos, easy to follow along. Thank you. Any particular reason you used silver clasp instead of gold (which would match small beads) ?
Glad you enjoyed it! No reason for using the silver, just a design choice. x
