Basically an actual game over. It’s unfortunate, but maybe it’s a good thing. Seemed to be moving into this direction since season 2/the merge basically, and now instead of taking another year it’s going to be quick.
We shall see what future holds but it is sad as the game has great potential
Lol refund on all unused in game currency.. ok.. I’ve spent thousands and have supported this game & have had fun in the process. I stuck with the monotony of goblin farming for months on end to see the game grow & stayed optimistic.. I have like 14 helio dice and 3k shards.. so what.. like $200 MAX after spending thousands?? Fuck this company. They were desperate to sell out at the expense of a large part of their playerbase. I cannot wait until fateless comes out. I’m so over these bullshit gacha games.

This is very unfair, it's true especially for people who like you were optimistic about the game future.

Well it says USA only for now, but i would think that Europe could easily be next. No inside info i just cant imagine spending any money in the game now going forward.
UK was the one trying to block Activision and Microsoft merger too, however as far as I know they have no issues with the TikTok owner.

I’m not in the us, but this is very sad. I hope they will change something as I’m in s3 and initially I fell in love with the game because of its story line. And there was almost no story in s2, nothing in s3 and s4 and the players on your server are the same ones, so everyone is kind of in like there places nothing changes. Daily routines, nothing to look forward to, just a stagnant play. But the sad thing is that there’s just so much potential. I hope they will sort it out and find a way to get everyone on one server, especially now that there will be even less players.

How can we get the money back? Just request a refund from the Apple store? How will they determine the real amount of in-game currency?
It's best to ask on Discord and Mods will guide you - I believe if you want refund you should contact the AppStore and do refund via them
hm I'm in Canada wonder if this will affect me. I assume our servers are in the US. Mexico as well I wonder what will happen to them. Wish they gave a bit more clarity on of it's ONLY the USA affected. GG
There is no US server, but US made accounts and they are in danger. They did not mention North American but rather USA, so I would guess you are safe.
As for clarity this is probably connected with Tencent acquiring ByteDance, with both are on red flag of FTC - this is what people are saying.

The thing is, if they wont bring a massive amount of storyline for season 5, the game will be over for everyone else aswell. Most of people, include me enjoyed the storyline much more, than the gatcha element, which many other games doing better. About 50% of the existing map in the game is unused, they could also add multiple planes aswell.
I would love more story :)
@@Gorax with constant story updating and not only a 5 minutes short before season boss, the game could have been the best superior mobile fantasy game, even with the harsh gatcha elements. But without that just a 1 season bait, with a short thing on 2. season to keep one engaged to spend and realized at the 3. season, it was not worth it. So now losing a bunch of users, they have to bring massive storyline at their one year mark or its gone for good
I hope with the support of Tencent they will do just all of that!
Spent today thinking about playing the season or just stop. I'm done. More time for last epoch, the gear grind is a bit much, but at least I can save some money.

You should go to Google Play -> Settings and Payments, it will tell you the region.
If you have never been to US, or used VPN to create US account you should be fine.

Seems to be the pattern with these type of games. Relatively short life. I've only been playing for a month or so, but have enjoyed it. I'm not from the USA but, I can tell that the end is near for the game.

They really have to come up with some game content otherwise this game will die now for sure. I mean i don't get it, lot of people spent money and time on this game even with its current state, why are they not putting some effort and give us more content. This oak blossom event as well feels like never gonna happen. Such a shame.
