I've had my BMW and now also my new Supra for some time now and I had no idea you could set the quick settings to anything you want in the display. Thank you
Just a quick question, can you code the exhaust valves on a stock exhaust to stay open at all times? My valves are constantly closing, and there are times where they stay open for 15 min of driving. After 15 min they close and the car is just as quiet as a Prius.
Hello ! Awesome video ! I saw in another video that its possible to monitor oil temp and coolant temp but u need to hold the reset button on the left side of the speedometer and put some numbers in from the vin . Only thing that you need to do this every time you start your car….. , Is there a way to code this in with the device shown in the video?
Thank you for explaining everything. After you finish coding do you need to do anything in diagnostic mode?? Or do you just go ahead and press the brake and start the car????
I hope the OBDLink CX adapter for Bimmercode works on the 2021 Supra since my ECU is locked. I ordered it using your link and code (thanks for the savings) and will be trying it out. Huge thanks for all your videos. They are what inspired me to buy a black Supra. BTW your build is so clean too.
How do you get out of diagnostic mode after you’re done with coding? Also, there are two OBD adaptors in your description? Does it matter which one to order?
I put in a system amp.ex two ten ins sub when I park after playing the system if I forget to turn the equalizer all the way down it will give you a heart attack when the amp reset and all the bells and whistle comes through eq volume wise .will suggest to the guy who did the installation
I'm sure you've figured it out by now but yes. You have to buy bimmercode to code anything in the car. The free version is basically just a demo but you can't actually code.
so once your completely done coding the car do you turn the car on and then remove the little link thing from the OBD2 port? or do you shut the car off immediately after coding and then remove the little link thing from the OBD2? I just don't want to short anything out or ruin something. i come from an era of tuning and modding old old cars that don't have such sensitive computer systems this is my first car with such a system.
In this video, you mentioned programming the brake force display. As far as I can see, we don't have access to some of the settings needed. can you give the link to the video that tells me how to do it?
I just picked up my 2024 Supra 3.0 Premium and I bought a ODB I am just wondering is BimmerCode will work on the year model I have or is there something else I need?
Man! you always got the coolest hands on Supra videos How is your buddy's M5 that blew his engine on the highway? Did he get a new engine or a new Supra?
I received 2 different types of warning which appeared during Z4 coding of my Supra which finally disappeared… They affected the cross traffic warning as well as my entire lighting system. Is this kind of „normal“? I only coded daytime running lights / sport mode individual at start, auto start stop off and brighter display.
@@ThicWhips Thanks for the reply and VERY glad to hear! 😊 I almost felt some kind of panic doing something wrong. Because first, I coded everything within the Supra coding, than realized there is no Body Domain Controller, because I‘m not in the Z4 coding, therefore made the earliest available backup (there should be a „stock settings“ backup instead of various dates / times where you actually don‘t know which one to choose) within Supra coding and afterwards did everything again within Z4 coding 😵💫
Hey man nice car. I have the same one and color. Mine is also modded to the max. With still running stock turbo. Want to change my wheels and tire combo. What wheels and size are you running. Thanks in advance.
You don't want to be coding in progress and receive a call halfway and possibly have the app crash on you or interrupt the coding and have the chance to brick or damage your car module whichever you're coding at the time. basically take no chances when coding. also don't forget to disconnect carplay while coding.
Choose video on usb so my baby girl can watch movies from a flash drive when we going for long trips. Video in motion is one of the best out there along with seat belts reminders OFF. This will allow android users to run Waze via screen mirror(supras don't like Android phone, they for poor ppl and this is a BMW) *just been sarcastic here
I come back to this video every time I need to code something, first on my supra and now on my G29. Thanks for this man!
Great video man! Knowing I can do this without paying some shop a lot is great. Keep up content like this!
It’s crazy cause things like this are so easy to find & learn but ppl will still pay shops to do this 😭😭
Sic video man. I’m placing an order for a Supra and this has been a big help in planning my build 🙏
Glad I could help

sport mode = valves open, they don't close unless you change mode
Something wrong with your car if the valves are closing by themselves
Does this platform void the warranty or is it simply access to far more advanced settings? I have a 2022 A91-CF.
Vids like this are SUPER informative!! Looking forward to the e50 in depth vid!!🙏🙏
Can you use bimmerlink to tell the exact fuel level of your car? That would be helpful for e85 mixture.

Silly question. Can I increase my bubbles on my A91 2022 3.0 supra. Using bimmercode? Thanks.

Let us know if it works out! 👊🏽
Just confirmed, it works the same on 2021 with locked ECU.
mines not connecting to my phone
@@domjandoli1204 Is it plugged and your car is in diagnostic mode?
Yup, it does work
The head unit option doesn’t show up on my bimmercode app. I tried connecting as z4 and Supra but it’s still not there 🤷🏻♂️
Can you use this device on the 2022 model Supras or does it only work on models that are cracked?
That’s what I want to know

With bimmercode connected select z4 > body domain > expert mode > 3072 Lic Features > #4 > Enable
I take it you need to purchase the full version of BimmerCode to be able to do this coding?
Yes
I order the beepeak adapter and could only code 2 items. The message for the other like mirrors was something around obd unsupported

Can you code out bluetooth CarPlay? I find that playing music via blutooth is quieter than XM rado, or connecting via USB cable.
my Auto Start/Stop turns off in Sport mode. shouldn't setting the initial start mode to Sport Individual kill two birds?
can you bimmer code on the new supra’s that can’t be tuned yet ?
yes

You hear the exhaust and intake more with active sound off. It’s almost like have music on when active sound is on
Video in motion?
Body Domain Controller not listed for me in bimmercode app. What I can do?

The OBD Link is out of stock. Any advice where else to buy it?
Will this work on a 21 to make apple car play full screen?
Can I do this on my a90 even if locked? New to the platform to all the wise guys.
I did the sound on lock/unlock for me this was very important
Does it work with the 2022 model? (Sorry if the answer was part of the video)
Hello, After I used Bimmercode to code some options, my cross traffic alert (sound) does not work when backing up. Any ideas? Thanks!
Can you code this to start in Sport+?

How'd you put your car in airplane mode? I can't seem to find that button.
So when the car starts in sport mode is the startup exhaust louder?
Yes
will this work if my car is already tunned?
Even with the seatbelt plugged in, my car went to sleep while coding the BDC. It kept coding and was successful though.
How long does it take to Code my 2020 Supra? I've added about 3 codes. I've been on preparing coding for about 2 hours now on my linked phone.

Does this show that you’ve had previous codes to the dealership or is it ghost ?
That warranty 🧾🧾🧾
Have you seen or used the "Sports Mode Plus" in the advanced settings? Is this just a name change or does it really increase performance?
If you are tuned like I am, sports plus does nothing. It might increase throttle sensitivity but that would be it

how come I don't have all of the codes you have?
does the new supra not have an option for acoustic lock as I notice your roof module containing the alarm system isn't able to read

For passenger side mirror. If you just leave the switch on the passenger side it won’t move when you go into reverse. Don’t need to code.
The point is that you want it to tilt, just not as extreme as it does. I go over the switch in the video as well
Pet peeve: I want to tear off my own ears every time I hear “ Beemercode”. It’s biMMercode!
