What a vivid raconteur! His remarks about working in Vienna's Hotel Metropole as a youngster are especially striking, as he experienced the harrowing changes firsthand, as the setting went from heaven to hell. Throughout, Mr. Tauber has offered up a fascinating set of multi-dimensional episodes from his life. So glad that he outlived it all and I appreciate every word that he decided to say.

I love listening to theses stories. Connects you to the human experiences. Extreme survival in the world of sick depravity. Every pupil should watch. Can happen again!

Guy has perfect English and next to no accent? I assume he knew English before leaving Germany for the US at age 35?

Y'know people don't expect me to speak english, and speak broken english to me...I find It offensive, and it makes me feel dumb.

These interviewers are the worst. Let the witness, the survivor talk. Stop interrupting with irrelevant questions.

Each survivor is so different in their perspectives, upbringings and their post war lives. Produces a fascinating array of memories. I feel compelled to condemn the State of Israel for conducting a genocidal campaign against the Palestinian people. Have we learnt nothing?

    Why so many survivors?
    Infamous German inefficiency I guess.
