I am sure you were a comfort to your mother because most teenage girls are very difficult. I am so glad you found happiness again when you had your own daughter and I hope you have many grandchildren. Riveting story.

How to move on in life after an "adolescence" like that? Testimony to human resiliency and the evil that is perpetrated in people because of their prejudices. So grateful for this testimony.

The worst interviewer I ve heard so far. She wasn’t paying attention to what the subject was saying. You can see that at the end of the interview

and this is somehow worth a mention about listening to this dear ladies experiences?
I liked this interviewer. She did not constantly interrupt or ask for spellings and was respectful. I have watched many of these testimonials and this interviewer was one of the best.
Forcing religion on your children is not freedom.
What do you mean by forced? Are you referring to cults and such. I was brought up in a Christian home but nothing was forced on me.
Religion is important to learn but the way she describes this is wrong. Being Jewish isn’t the only important religion to learn. Spiritual beliefs are important but being Jewish vs Agnostic is not the same thing. Just be a good person.

If your heritage is Jewish, then Judaism is the most important religion to learn. If it’s Christian, then Christianity is the most important, if Muslim then Islam most important and so on. This does not exclude being exposed to and learning about other religions so that you can be understanding and tolerant of others. If you are agnostic or an atheist, learn to respect the religious beliefs of others.
I believe Rochelle said to each his own religious beliefs, not that her beliefs were most important.
