- If I can do this, you can do this. I have limited building experience, but it's possible to teach yourself anything these days. In this video, you'll see my vision of my dream house come to life. From the sketches I made on paper creating the design to friends hanging out around the firepit of the rooftop deck. This was perhaps the biggest challenge of my life, and you'll see how it was accomplished from start to finish in this video.

In my mid 60’s I rocked a wall behind our pellet stove from split slate I found in old quarries. It was tedious but fun. I can’t imagine doing this with the heavy stones you used, but it came out great!

You did a really good job on building your house it looks really awesome. I like the furniture not the color lol😂 but it brings out the light in your living room and that’s all that matters.
