I remember the challenges they had on those games and you would unlock special wrestlers by completing those tasks the hardest challenge for me was the 3 faces of Foley match where I was Mick Foley and I had to go against Mankind, Dude Love and Cactus Jack in a 1 vs. 3 Handicap match on legend difficulty and it was frustrating for me.
Kinda funny how newer WWE somehow give you the option to allow you to lift an opponent who's heavier than you, harkening back to the old-school SmackDown games until Here Comes the Pain.
This video is extremely helpful and now I can keep the referee down for a certain amount of time, where I can grab a weapon and clobber my opponent with it until the ref comes through. I like making things suspenseful while I play 2k22. It feels like I'm actually watching a real match except I have to control my character with the controller.
I have a Arcade Match type to simulate the Arcade Wrestling Games. It's One on One. NoDQ, and a 20 Count. I keep Simulation on, because I do like some realism when playing.
idk if it's still supported or not but ticking on fair mode would make it more like an arcade feel since everybody would be balanced as far as overalls.also setting on fast match style for those snappy quick arcade matches.

I've never liked how weight detection worked in the 2K games. The moves you're able to do & not able to do on a much bigger opponent never made a lot of sense.

HELP! My game has started to look very pixelated recently. Whenever the camera zooms further away from the ring everything looks pixelated with jagged edges around every object even at the highest settings. This was NOT present at launch. Graphics was the ONLY purpose for me to buy this game and due to this nonsense issue it looks awful and really took away my motivation to play it any longer. I feel cheated as my whole purpose of buying this game is not served. Is anyone else facing this problem? Do you know how to fix this? Plz help!

I remember that one too. That was a tough one especially with the DQ a rule in effect. I couldn't use a weapon at all.

HELP! My game has started to look very pixelated recently. I would uninstall the game completely and reinstall . I did that once and it solved a lot of glitching problems
