Correct me if I’m wrong but VF Corp the parent company of vans no longer owns vanity fair. They divested in the brand and sold it to Fruit of the Loom in 07/08, so I guess it was true for the time the companies where owned by VF Corp between 04 - 07/08, but is no longer true.
Fun fact, vans is also owned by timberland and the north face. I worked for timberland last year and would get half off on all 3 brands pretty lit. Another fun fact supreme has collab w these brands, probably cuz they don’t have to run and talk to different people.

Karhu also happens to be the first company to use an air unit in a shoe, beating Nike by just a year or two with the Karhu Champion, now retro'd as the Championair. My gramdpa actually used to ski jump on their skiis back in the 40s and 50s and my dad used to wear their skii boots, but they also provided running shoes for the Finnish Olympic team for a number of years. One of the oldest sportswear companies still in business too started back in 1916. Always get just a bit miffed when they're excluded from the history of sportswear and sneakers, even if they never had the recognition in North America of companies like Nike, Adidas, Puma, or Champion they really did and still do create and implement some of the most cutting edge technologies of the time as well as today with their modern stuff.
