@@luvvreni Haha omg yes, it can't hold a charge for longer than 15 minutes or so, so it needs to be plugged into the wall at all times. I can't update any apps anymore, but I've been using my friends laptop at school when we can to edit my photos for class etc. It's been a NIGHTMARE

just wondering why did you choose the air over the pro especially because you do a lot of video editing and youtubers always complain about the air being too slow, heating up, and crashing while using final cut pro, etc.
Idk why anyone would buy this Mac for work it basically has a iPhone processor and doesn’t work with x86 apps natively you have to emulate them so the performance is not good
The air is faster than her old pro and if it can run fcpx then it's fine if it doesn't have good performance for her need she can return it
it’s a long story 🙃
the new m1 chip which is in the air is the fastest mac ever. it’s faster than the top of the line 16” macbook pro
@@user-fz4mv3bk4z it is faster for native apps but the top of the line 16" would be a much better option for anything else especially video editing. if it was better than the top of the line 16" they would've released a 16" w the m1 lineup

yeah I was wondering that too because the pro would be better for what she uses it for but it is more expensive
@@NAIDELYN the pro and the air both use the m1 chip so there’s not much difference in speed. the main difference is the touch bar and the pro has better battery
I was wondering too bc I know the last airs many TH-camrs didn’t like if
@@bf6291 very true.. but tests from people who actually have both are showing that the speeds are about the same. the m1 chip runs very cool, making the fan almost useless unless you're doing super intense tasks which you probably wont
