Wait to plug it in until it’s less than 30%. This will keep your battery from aging so fast.
If you have newer MacbookPro/Air models, there is not big of a difference if they are plugged in all the time. Just let them drain to 30-50% once a week. The software keeps the battery health good.

I'm actually surprised the M1s are sort of budget friendly. Yeah, yeah, I know.. 35k ain't budget friendly. But considering you'd only get a mid-range windows laptop at that price point, the M1s are definitely the budget oriented ones, especially when you consider that Apple is known for supporting older systems so you're pretty much getting a long term system for the 35k.
hey there op, just want to remind you to please PLEASE wear your mask when receiving parcels. even if it’s just a short interaction, the virus can still be transmitted to you. drivers get in contact with almost everyone and everywhere so it’s the best to wear a mask when interacting with them. also, sanitize your products outside using lysol or sanitizing wipes. and then proceed to also sanitize the products inside if it’s opened already. it made me really cringe because you hugged the parcel and didn’t wear a mask when you went to get it. i know it’s because your excited, but it should be normalized to use masks when getting your parcels :( considering that you have an elderly person in your home, it’s hard to get infected with the virus. anyways, this was still a lovely video. very visually appealing and aesthetic !

I was able to relate on a lot of things on your video (such as not being able to sleep for a few days while waiting, being so excited as it was also the first high end laptop that I have bought for myself, being extra meticulous on a lot of things) and I have also watched dozens of videos on how to take care of my macbook for how many weeks before my macbook arrived, and I could say that your video really sums up all those tips and reminders pretty well.. Ohhh I’m pretty much doing this all the time, I have a mini 13 and the battery is awesome!
With Li-Ion batteries it's actually the opposite. You should keep your battery percentage between 30% and 80%.

Not really… I don’t think you can do anything with someone’s serial number besides check the warranty and product type
