holy shit dude this is so sick! you honestly deserve way more attention and i really do hope the algorithm starts to get on its ass and sends you high up there. listenin to this song right while im starting to loose some really good friendships of mine and i cant think of a more beautiful way for it all to end. much love man!
super cover ! j'adore les voix et les effets ajoutés ça donne vraiment l'impression d'écouter les musiques du jeu ! j'espère que vous ferez plus de ces covers c'est une expérience !
Great cover Le Decompositeur!! Love the addition of the recorder! The electric guitar looks a bit out of place! Needed to add some dirt to get the vibe haha, but the tone sounded a bit like a dulcimer so it it all good! Other than that I am always amazed at how many instruments you play! It looks so fun to be able to do it! So much respect and admiration. Your voice fits very well with the female vocalist! Now you have to do the obligatory TH-camr Witcher cover - “Toss A Coin to Your Witcher” next!!
Thanks Dirk ! Yes I know the guitar here seems weird but it was actually used like that by the composer ^^ Thank you for always commenting the videos, it means a lot ! And yes I intend to cover "Toss a coin" one day, vut I have a few covers coming up first ;)
@@LeDecompositeur I am really just kidding about the electric guitar. I know they use all kinds of electric instruments and effects in the score. It just didn’t have that medieval aesthetic. Haha. There is a symphonic death metal band called Fleshgod Apocalypse. They play with classical/baroque looking instruments. The electric guitars and bass have f-holes etc. and wooden bodies like violins/ cellos. Maybe you could get some of those to match with your other classical instruments… But I’m sure they’re custom build and expensive! Oh wel, one day you will probably have every instrument out there! Haha. There is also a French band called Skald. They play Viking/Norse inspired music and they also plag some very unusual and old instruments! Maybe you can also take inspiration from them, if you don’t know them already. Honestly, but don’t mind me. You know best what you are doing. I’ll just be here listening. Good luck with more songs! Looking forward to hearing them!
Ooooh ok I thought you meant the guitar sounded weird in this music. Aesthetically it looks out of place indeed, but I use it so little that I'm not certain to invest in a more "classical-looking" one ^^ Anyway thanks again for the tips and the groups you mentionned, I'm gonna check them out !
@@LeDecompositeur I am really glad then that if I phrased my sentences wrong it is clarified now. I was really just making a light hearted joke about the electric guitar looking out of place, because you’d expect to see a lute or something. But I like like you said there are definitely electric guitar and a bunch of other effects in the soundtrack! The music performance, recording, costumes and video editing etc. is great! English isn’t my first language, and I see some spelling/grammar mistakes in my sentences. Apologies. Plus humour doesn’t always get across in the comment section… You can look at the bands I named, but please don’t think I mean you should cover some of their music. They aren’t even that famous, and I don’t even really think their music is compatible with what you do… Film and game music is so diverse in any way. Really just go for what ever you want to perform! So far every cover has blown me away… Please add more guitars in the future if you want to! I love guitar. Even if you change up genre’s sometime and start playing electronic dance music I’m pretty sure you will be able to pull it off!!! You are very talented! Just add a fiddle and a trombone here and there and it will be a hit. Hehe. Take care!
Thank you so much you're too kind ! I'm really no expert at playing guitar, so for now I try to stick to more "classical" orchestrations. I'll try to put even more layers/voices for the next covers ;) Take care too !
