6:28 The fact that Fable gives you an option to hurt an innocent dog is the reason why I never choose an evil option. I only played Evil Cole in InFamous due to wanting to get a platnium trophy. Just seeing a character weather he/she be fictional or not being ruthless towards a dog makes my blood boil.
I think one of the few games that implements a good/bad binary moral system well is *Dishonored,* with its high/low chaos. This is because it functions less as an explicit choice between being good or evil during "story moments", but more as a background mechanic that maintains ludo-narrative harmony by adjusting the tone of the story to your gameplay style. This is something that systems with more complex moral choices can't really do, because you can't really make or measure those in moment to moment gameplay. Some of these more nuanced choices do actually exist in the game, with usually pretty lasting consequences, though they are definitely overshadowed by the Chaos score. Which while a simple binary, is still handled realistically/believably: Violently slaughtering dozens of guards and civilians would obviously lead to deteriorating conditions compared to operating quietly, precisely and with a lower body count, as well as reflect on the character of the person you are playing as. There are also a myriad of smaller choices you make within the broader chaos system, most of whom have both their decision and consequences occur seamlessly during regular gameplay.
Yo just watched ur fromsoft katana conspiracy and decided to see what else u had made, these videos slap bro I subscribed straight away, did not expect such high quality content from a channel wt 4 subs, I reckon that won't be for long tho
So happy your videos got recommended to me. As so many other people have said, you have great humor, personality, and editing style. Keep up the good work. Cant wait to see you grow
I found you from your horror video, and I've gotta say man, it's been a whole since I've found a new TH-cam channel that I actually binged all the content from. Your videos are great. Love your comedic timing, editing, and sense of humor. Keep up the amazing work I can't wait to see you blow up!!
I'll always respect Planescape Torment for making you be actually EVIL and not just be a goofy psychopath (in fact, killing random people is a fast track to getting truly killed in a game where it's really hard to stay dead.) It's more about tormenting (haha get it) and sacrificing your party members for your own personal gain, in a game where your party members are extremely well written, or releasing the embodiment of entropy and eventually dooming the multiverse to get some sick endgame gear.
Whats the ending song? Also, just found your channel, this is my second vid, I'm subscribed now lol can't wait for more. Especially stuff like this, less focused on a singular game, more focused on gaming in general, its interesting. Anyway...yeah...song title..pls
Karma systems just mean I'm going to the good one first, then search up the bad choice later. RDR2 you didn't know what honor affected but that's because in the later half of the game it seamlessly changes certain dialogue and context for your playthrough without outright stating it will. If the Honor system wasn't so black and white, especially since I'm already a murdering outlaw, it would've been better
I have played infamous but I always thought of it as super boring because essentially it's not that fun of a game sorry for commenting so much I went on a binge of all your videos
I wonder what were the people working on these games with good and bad choices thinking. For example, all the people who worked on the part where you get the choice to hand over the baby or throw it in the oven. How it felt to work each good and bad path.
Infamous 1 id argue had the better karma system out of the series. when there was a choice you would have cole narrate the options on what to do and why you should. This made for a moral dilemma and made for some morally grey scenarios. Where even though the game labels it as binary good and evil. You could argue its less about choosing based on morality and more about what options are best for your survival. Infamous 2 had a great ending choice and id say that the evil ending of 2 was one of the best moral dilemmas out of the series. But the rest of the evil choices in the game aren’t as compelling. And being a karma locked ending doesn’t help to create a proper choice.

Ayyyy this is pretty gooooddde
Try “walking dead”
2:40 Can i get the name of the song please? Sounds like doom music but..
BFG Division from the Doom 2016 soundtrack
How ironic you used doom music for the evil path
inFamous isn’t an rpg though. It’s an action game, so I feel like the binary choices are fine, but I do see how more choices would improve the game
Errrr how about Fallout???
Just didnt like the witcher 3 spoiler... i have yet to do that quest...
Ikr, haven’t done that one on my 13th play through either.
7 year old game dawg
