I can agree that Milwaukee's best... and keystone are pretty terrible. But Bud Light? Hell nah. I like a beer that I can drink as a beverage with about damn anything. Popcorn? Bud Light. Pizza? Bud Light. Fried Chicken? Bud Light. Hell a damn Mixed Green Raspberry Walnut Vinaigrette Salad w/ Blue Cheese? Still a Bud Light.
It ain't bitter, it tastes good, it doesn't overpower the food, and it's not overly alcoholic. Sorry but I'll pass on the whole bitter as a lemon peel 8% craft beer scene. If I wanted to drink something foul tasting and get drunk as shit I'd just swig down some mezcal.

( remember - the irish drink their "pints" warm ... Imagine drinking a WARM, FLAT ... american beer ... served in a CHEAP plastic cup. ( not even close to what is served in america ! )
Dark bottles help the beer from being exposed to the sun and outside light elements. Clear bottles are essentially skunking the beer sooner.
I never understood why any company would bottle beer in clear bottles. It's science 101.
1, nobody is keeping this around for months. 2, the cardboard carton it comes in blocks out the light even better than a brown bottle.
It takes as little as 5 minutes for direct sunlight to skunk a beer. Don't believe me? Try this - take a bottle of your favourite pisswasser, pour it it evenly into two clear glasses. Take one outside & place it in the sun while leaving the other inside. After 5 minutes, taste test them both. Take it further and don't drink it all, and leave the sunned beer back out in the sun for just 15 more minutes, then taste test again.

God of Thunder skunking only takes minutes, full on skunking will happen in an hour of sitting in the sun. Skunked beer smells like weed, and will make you want to puke your guts out because of how bad it tastes. No thanks

We were in Ireland Last year and when we went to an "Irish Pub" I was shocked to see the locals drinking Coors Lite, Yeah, Coors Lite so take what they say with a grain of salt. The Irish like crap beer too.

Kuma El Negro Ales have many different flavours. Not all are fruity though they can be. You can have various flavours that come through such as caramel, bread, citrus, smoke etc. Real ale has a nice smooth texture because it does not have artificial carbonation, and can have complex flavours from a secondary fermentation. There are many different styles of ale including bitter, IPA, amber, blonde, stout etc. Ales are very diverse, so it's worth giving several different ones a try to see if you like them. Ale is very different from lager.

It was funny going to Ireland and seeing Coors on tap at the Horse and Jockey pub in County Tipperary. I asked the man behind the bar why they had it. He said “Not really sure why, it’s a load of shite”. Absolutely correct, sir.
Sam Adams and Brooklyn Lager aren't all that bad, but all of these beers were lagers. I'd like to have seen them throw some proper ales or stouts in the mix. And some west coast craft brews like some Stone, Lagunitas, Firestone Walker, North Coast, etc brews. Although I'd imagine west coast American craft brews aren't exactly easy to find in Ireland, but if you could find some it would make an entertaining video.

Sierra Nevada is kinda macro now that they opened up an east coast brewery, Lagunitas was bought by Heineken, Stone is opening a brewery in Germany, but at least theyre brewed using the craft-style. At least theyre not faux-micro like Blue Moon.

Budweiser used to my favorite beer, then I tried Sam Adams and realized I wasted the majority of my young adult life drinking shit.
there's nothing wrong with Budweiser, provided that Guinness Extra Stout is unavailable. If I can't get Guinness, I will drink Budweiser with no hesitation. Coors original ("The Banquet") is even better in my opinion. Modelo I like as well. Mexico is in North America after all. Negra Modelo is quite good.

I love me some Imperial Stouts and IPA's, but Boston Lager is very well balanced, which is the reason I like it. A beer doesn't need to burn your taste buds out so it could be good. Anyway, I know Samuel Adams gets a lot of hate from the snobs, but they still make pretty good beer.

+Nicholas Schrock You're not drinking the right Sam Adams man as I agree most of their main stream mass produced beers are shit besides octoberfest (obviously not gourmet by any stretch but it is still a good tasting beer). You have to try any of their Micro brewed beer it's actually very delicious and really strong. I'd put them up against Rogue, Southern Tier, and Founders which tells me you're probably an IPA type of guy?
***** The New world Tripel is great reminds me of a beer I was drinking in Belgium and its like 10% gets you drunk fast while being super smooth and very flavorful. The Tretravis is very good too kind of a different taste but its really delicious. They have that Baltic birch dark depths which is awesome that's a stout can barely find it anywhere though. Ahh sorry for the assumption just those 3 breweries have really good IPA's. I love the dirty bastard from Founders I drink every style of beer my state has some delicious stouts and luckily surrounded by states that brew kick ass beer.

In my youth (I'm pushing 68), I drank Bud (still like it - not my favorite, though), Coors Light, and MGD Light. They were good, went down easy, and most importantly - they were inexpensive! Now that I'm older, and can afford it, I like to buy a six pack of something I've never tried before.

America produces excellent beers. The sad truth is (just as in Europe) most of them are not widely distributed. What you served these people are great examples of “corporate beer” but in no way reflect the virtual cornucopia of beer that is available here in the US. I would love to see a part two of this video made with better examples of what is actually available.

I love that the red head calls Coors piss water. I grew up in Denver and that's what we called it. In the advertisements they always talked about how it is made from Rocky Mountain spring water so we called it Rocky Mountain piss water. She is dead on:) We also called Budweiser sweat.

It's sad what they were made to drink. There are HUNDREDS of better beers in America. Those were the most marketed. Many call them "lawnmower beers", as they're just something to drink while doing yard work.

honestly the "beer culture" in America has changed drastically in the last 15 years. there are those who drink beer to get drunk for cheap (the bud, coors, miller drinkers) and then those who drink beer because they appreciate beer (craft brew drinkers) and then there are those who like to crush up hops into a fine powder and snort them and just eat them whole and insert them anally (IPA lovers) i like flavorful beers, the brown ales, the ambers, the reds, the porters, the stouts

If you go into a good micro brew retailer in the US today it is rather like trying to select wine. There are SO MANY choices that were not at all available just a couple of decades ago! I love discovering new beers (mostly ales) and introducing them to my friends. To date there have been few unadulterated hoppy IPAs that have not hit the sweet spot in my brain. Ales baby!

I love same too. The rest are glorified water. They would have less foam if they poured by tipping the cup and pouring down the inner side of the cup, not straight in. I like Shock Top a lot too, but I realize that's a less established brand as far as being traditional.

Blue Moon is a bit more established and is the same type of beer (Belgian white). Both Blue Moon and Shock Top have a notable flavor, but not overpowering.

If you want some amazing beers from the state of Wisconsin you have SO MANY amazing options- for me personally though I would say Sprecher’s Special Amber and New Glarus Spotted Cow are some personal favorites of mine but I highly recommend anything from either of those breweries they are all delicious! :-) As for the commercial stuff you should have gone with Miller High Life and you could do much worse than Pabst Blue Ribbon as it is perfectly drinkable and inoffensive!
