I was very disappointed on Coming to America II, "if ain't broke don't fix it"! and of course they changed up the move and Coming to America II was horrible....
@@TheLOD2099 Economy grew under Reagan, however the old man Ronald made some very bad decisions that effected the economy soon after he left office....... You don't see disney shoving their agenda down our throats or since it's Neflix replacing Taggart or Rosewood with black actors LOL!
Thank you! People forget Reaganomics. He and the decade were a joke. The other day someone quoted Wang Chung and El Debarge. Those two songs TOTALLY deceive the impact of the 80s. While it was Everybody Have Fun Tonight, my family was in a one bedroom apartment in Brooklyn where my dad was laid off from a taxi job. When it was Rhythm of the Night I remember burying one neighbor every 3 months because of a crack overdose. It was not glitz and glamorous unless you were white, well off, and had people who cared about you. Think about this; no people of color in Brat Pack movies. And don’t gimme that Long Duck Dong shit!
@@andrewmackey2019 President Reagan was the hero of the 80s. He saved this country, and the world from Soviet aggression and undid years of disastrous Democratic policies.
The interviewee took the words right out of my mouth. The year Beverly Hills Cop was released was the same year as Kevin Bacon's 'Footloose'. 2 really big hits of 1984!
One of the most brilliant things i caught in this movie was Tagert getting more screen time than Billy. It really made up for his absence in part 3. It's really a great movie
I cant believe it isnt rated higher on IMDB. I was waiting for it to come out and i LOVED it. Was it as great as the first one? No but it is a close second
From beginning to end, I enjoyed this movie thoroughly. Seriously, to all of you actors, the writer, the director, and every other person involved in this film. Thank you. This is how you bring back a classic series. The only one that has done it right imo. I felt like I was watching a 80s action comedy set in present time, which honestly I didn't think would be possible.
I really wish Eddie knew such inspiration he was, especially I wanted to laugh like him which it eventually came out naturally. I felt so cool and I occasional still goof out that iconic laughter from time to time 😂
Full marks to Herr Faltermeyer, the composer of Axel F. The film's identifying theme music became so popular on the charts, too. I enjoyed the new movie as well.
I can’t wait to watch it. Some of the other reboots haven’t been all that good outside of Maverick, but I’ve always loved Beverly Hills cop one and two as a kid. I don’t even know how many times they had to be at least 40 times I’ve seen this movie and still enjoy.
this was def better than I expected..especially after the let down of coming 2 america part 2. only missed having gilbert gottfried show up. and yeah the soundtrack made me smile ..pointer sisters!
Whoever came up with this formula should be commended.. Because it works like a charm.. Kinda a shame they don’t crank out these kinda movies now with more regularity like they did in the 80’s.. I really do love BHC but I think I may even put Midnight Run & 48 Hours even higher
Kinda sad the guy felt he had to suppress his natural expression of joy. His laugh was a big part of what made his character endearing and made the movie feel like a fun time. While I enjoyed BHC4, it could’ve used his laugh.
Eddie talked about how they underutilized the villian in the third one. It still had some funny moments for me as a kid. When he dressed up like a mascot and hugged the kids, then gets hit, lmao.
Loved thought it would suck like the Ghostbusters new movies. However Eddie nailed nostalgia and kept it original to the 84 rumors say he's doing part 5. If he does stick to taking some time don't rush.
I was surprisingly shocked at how good this movie is 40 years after the original.
So, in other words, it wasn't "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny"
I was very disappointed on Coming to America II, "if ain't broke don't fix it"! and of course they changed up the move and Coming to America II was horrible....
@@michaelkrolewski7406 wait indiana jones did a reboot?
@@Bruce_LeRoyy It was terrible and instantly forgettable
@@Bruce_LeRoyy Coming II America was pretty bad which is why I had low expectations for BHC Axel F.
They should have dropped it in theaters, I REALLY want to see it in a movie theater just for the experience and fun!
Rest in peace Taggart.
I’m glad that John Ashton (Taggart) was able to make it in Beverly Hills Cop 4.
Thank you. 👮♂️🚓
I enjoyed this film. It's a ridiculous throwback to a less stressful time. No politics, no preaching at the audience just a fun popcorn flick.
No politics? It was the Reagan era, it was a horrible decade.

Who is here july 2024 to give love for Beverly hills cop after 40 years ??
@@bodyslamchannel I am!!!
for sure i am.forever
I quite liked it! It was better than expected, I personally thought it was just about as good as the first one 😇
Here
I definitely am I downloaded the song Here We Go!
Eddie's Tracy Morgan impression is dead ass spot on. If I were to close my eyes, I would assume Tracy was getting interviewed and not Eddie.
The interviewee took the words right out of my mouth. The year Beverly Hills Cop was released was the same year as Kevin Bacon's 'Footloose'. 2 really big hits of 1984!
1984 what a year. I think it's the best year ever!
and a brief appearance from Christopher McDonald, who was in Breakin’ from the same year, 1984 😂
Havent seen footloose
The amount of people who have the Beverly Hills Cop theme as their ringtone even today is astounding.
Lowkey that might be my alarm clock music
I would love to have BHC theme as a ringtone. I know I want the knight rider theme as a ringtone.
But I’m too cheap. I don’t wanna pay for it. 🤣
I thought I was the only one! 🤣🤣😆
Have you counted them ?!?
That's me
Such a great movie sequel! After 40 years! 40! Well done!
God WE missed you Judge Reinhold!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Judge is awesome actor!
It was actually very good. I thoroughly enjoyed. I almost wish it wasn’t on Netflix and was a regular release
Ya I remember watching the first 1 like 100 times as a kid an I genuinely liked it they did it justice definitely
judge reinhold is a national treasure. would love to just chat with him for a few hours. his interview on Rich Eison was epic
Jerry Bruckheimer- What a legend! ❤
Call it nostalgia, but it was great to see a comedy/action film again. And whoever did the makeup/effects on those gunshots did an excellent job.
One of the most brilliant things i caught in this movie was Tagert getting more screen time than Billy. It really made up for his absence in part 3. It's really a great movie
Relieved to see the main cast still alive. Looking forward to this.
They did so good with the new edition. Loved how they included stuff and people from the old movies
They had too, look what happened to Coming to America II they changed it up and it was terrible
Great to see John Ashton
The movie is really good. Not just a nostalgia play. Kevin Bacon and Joseph were great additions. Excellent actors.
Eddie Murphy is a top-tier actor and entertainer, looking forward to his Donkey movie
its an honor and priveledge to have witnessed ur art in the BH series for 40 years. I cant believe its still as good now as it was back then.
They should've had more scenes with the Big 3 together, Foley, Billy, and Taggert
All of us 90's kids wanted to learn Axel theme
and the majority of them mistakenly thought it was the Miami Vice theme, some to this very day.
80s🎉
Honestly, we just wanted to be stealthy in a room with this music playing.
Not even a 90's kid, but one of the first songs I learned on my Korg keyboard was that song. 😊
Just watched it..
F#CKING ❤ it!!!
Took me back to my childhood. I missed Axel and the Gang.
Eddie we need that laugh back for Beverly Hills Cop V 😉
Its part of Axel Foley in movie 1+2.
Jus saw the movie!!!
Very fckn GOOD!!!🎉💪🏾
Exactly, a lot of F bombs 💣

Dude I’m just glad they did a sequel and not a damn remake!!😏
Definitely no kevin Hart stars as axel f bs it's eddie murphy og no one can do it better
I had to get the Intrada Harold Faltermeyer score on CD. Axel F is like the Pink Panther theme--it comes up whenever Axel is up to some mischief!
We NEEDED this movie!! It won't win any Oscars BUT... Wow, fun, fun .. Thank you! I was 10 when the 1st one was released 🌄🐻
I'd going to hold on to hope to think it will get a grammy.
I agree the movie was soo nostalgic, the beginning and all the actors Great Movie!
I agree, it was really nice to just watch a good old fashioned movie!!!
What I loved most about it is that it had that 80s feel again. Loved how they used the old songs etc.

R.I.P. John Aston (1948 - 2024)!
Classic!! Loved so happy they brought most of the original cast
Bacon just trying to “work out my demons” haa
Kevin bacon looks like he barley aged lol
I don't normally say this , but John Ashton looks 80? Me being 74 I Get guessed younger.
And does anyone hear John Ashton say Coc---- in this movie,😡😡😡
The Terminator also came out in 1984, and was rebooted

He said in interview he can’t make it anymore naturally, he doesn’t laugh this anymore. But you're right, this was cool
@JesterHammer no shit. You literally watched him say that in the video he's commenting on.
