Jay, thank you for sharing this. I got notification that my speakers and amp were shipping today. All I can say is wow that was quick. Placed the order Sunday and shipped today. Looking forward to getting the confirmation that my V2 is shipping. I am ready for a great quality system. I currently have the HDHU.14si. Been extremely happy with it. I’m really looking forward to the changes in the V2. I am gifting my other to my best friend for his bike.

Thanks for the update, I called and upgrade my maestro. Suggestion on the V2 video group. I don’t do Facebook, is there a way for you to put the videos on your website like the install videos?

Do you have a thundermax ecm? Or other tuner?
@@volunteeraudio Hi, no, only the Soundstream V2 , No ecm added only origin
@@capitainfred gauges on screen only operate with engine running, make sure if it is not working that you have all the plugs in the correct color coded port, some can go in multiple locations and will not work in the wrong port
so sad i bought a Maestro RR2 but cannot get the App for The RR2 in The Netherlands. Playstore says not available in your country
@@legio65 there are tricks to get around this by changing your location in your phone, once downloaded restore your location
🙏🏼 Thanks! Any reports of the V2 randomly cutting off after 15-20 minutes of riding and then rebooting and coming back on about 15 minutes later? I checked all of my connections and theyre all secure, im going to update the radio when I get home tonight, im hoping the maestro connectivity issues are whats causing it. Could you reach out to Soundstream to see if theyre aware or what would cause this? Im hoping its just a software bug and not something more serious like the internal amp is overheating or something similar.

I was SO excited for this update, but now I have no use for it because my V2 radio no longer works.
Is there any way to make the MRR2 water proof? I noticed they make a waterproof box for the original MRR, but it makes no mention of compatibility with the successor. I've had my radio for a week, and apparently just smoked my MRR2 while washing my bike today (not power washing, just normal wash, and I'm always careful around the fairing). This makes me very hesitant to use this at all, and I'm considering going back to my stock Boom GTS. It seems insane to me that idatalink sells these for motorcycle applications without having a waterproof (or at least water resistant) option. There's nothing. Not even a PCB coating.
When I opened my fairing, it wasn't drenched in there. Just some minor drips. A couple made their way down to the Maestro and killed it.
Volunteer has been great with the whole process to this point as far as informing me of updates, so none of this is knock on them so far. I'm extremely disappointed in idatalink though. But I guess when you corner the market and there's no competition... 🤷🏼♂️
We have sold thousands of Soundstream hdhu14si radios that use the same module, water is rarely an issue as the fairing does not get much water in it and with proper placement of the module water does not run into it, always mount the mrr or mrr2 high in the fairing with drip loops so water does not run down wiring and into the module. Also applying dielectric grease to each plug or connector keeps water out also. Normally if they get wet and stop working you can dry them and they start back. Call 1-844-30AUDIO and we can warranty it if bad and help further if you purchased from volunteer audio.
Jay will this update help with the Bluetooth connection because my phone will not connect automatically unless it's Android Auto or Apple CarPlay I have to manually connect my Bluetooth each time
If you only want Bluetooth you must turn off apple carplay and only pair the Bluetooth

I recently attempted to update the software from version 711 to version 829, but the head unit displayed a message indicating that the update could not be found. I have successfully completed this process in the past without encountering any issues. I would like to inquire if anyone else has experienced a similar problem.
@@RGONZ1 we have tech support but you must call during business hours, many people have had issues with updates but we can help figure out what your issue is if you call in
I bought V2 and installed it. My screen is going black (especially after phone calls but has happened at other times) and my advance track is not working.
@@EWGREENFIELD06 there are several reasons this could happen, have you done the latest software update from 7/11/24? If your phone loses connection to the radio or freezes while connected the apple carplay / android auto will have a black screen. The radio displays what the phone sends but if it stops sending data you will see a black screen. Make sure you have done the latest radio update, your phone is up to date. Update all apps on your phone. Restart your phone. Delete all Bluetooth pairings from within your phone and delete all past CarPlay connections. Then follow our connection video on how to properly connect your phone. It will make your connection much more stable

You think maybe they could have found this out with some testing on their own? Its only been a week and users are finding issues.
The preproduction samples did not have these issues, not sure why but they have quickly fixed the issues
My Apple CarPlay drops and the screen goes blank. It’s very sporadic. I can go riding for 5 hrs and nothing, then I start riding and within 5 minutes it goes blank. Once while the bike was cold and 70 degrees outside, another time it was after a days worth of riding and 100 degrees outside.
In the past week, it has happened to me about 6 times.
I have to cycle the bike off & back on to reboot and get CarPlay again.
Do you keep your phone close to the radio or did you put it in the tour pac or saddle bags? Wireless CarPlay uses WiFi and can be greatly diminished if put in a rear bag, any interference could cause it to drop
I keep it mounted on my handlebars close to the radio. I never had it dropped on the GTS and I was using a wireless adapter to my USB in the right glove box.
@@chile2610 make sure and watch todays video on connecting your phone, delete all pairings and start over using the new video
