Captain Disillusion disagrees with the "This guy didn't uses any CGI." He did, along with some brilliant editing trickery. Captain D didn't degrade the incredible skills, but just broke down how they were done. He did poke some light hearted fun at a few minor mistakes that anyone with the artist's level of skill shouldn't have made.
Saying the slow motion video has no CGI can be confusing as I imagine quite a few people would interpret that as no advanced editing Great vid as always though!
@@NightmareBS Its not just that lol. There are definitely multiple takes per clip. You know... seeing as you can't make an egg explode with your hand without touching it.
The falco bird is a kestrel and this is how they normally hunt their pray, they’re abundant here in Australia 🇦🇺 and I see them doing this very regularly
The falcon is a kestrel, and they do that all the time. I often see them hovering, keeping an eye on the ground looking for food. Brilliantly captured images.
You can even witness this in humans. Ask your friend to look at the tip of a pen and then ask them to look at the pen while moving their head around, and you'll find that their eyes stay focused on the pen while their entire head, or even body is moving. It's actually a common medical test called the vestibulo-ocular reflex. It's meant to compensate for blurry vision. You can test for yourself, but moving your eyes actually causes a less detailed image than if your entire head was rapidly moving but your eyes stayed focused on the object. In this way, the eagle can't really move its eyes, so it relies on its head to be its gyroscope. It is weirder seeing how an animal evolved the same features us humans have, but using it in such a different way.
@@Rocket-Man-765 Yeah, it's so weird to see. An even better demonstration is looking into your eyes in a mirror while moving your head around at any random speed. It stays insanely still. Though, pro tip, if you've got mental health problems, I would suggest avoiding the mirror test. Mirrors are surprisingly bad for mental health I find.

@@ryanthompson3737 interesting!
