Have been heartsick reading about what's been happening out there, with how protectors are being savaged using my tax dollars. Especially at this time of year, when I look back--not in celebration but in introspection--on what has happened to First Nations peoples in the last few hundred years. Water is a human right, godammit. Nothing matters more than that in this whole dispute. Thank you for putting focus on this, Chris; the general media reporting on the DAPL--or lack thereof--is outrageous.

Liem H It's not obvious that this is a site created by the DAPL and it's investors at all. I am purchasing solar for my home and moving away from usage of fossil fuels in all areas I possibly can. Moving all my finances to a local credit union as well. Climate change is real. Also this is a racial issue and another way for white rich men to gain total control and get richer and richer while they pillage our land for "resources" and make US pay them for it. Millions of people are waking up to the truth, no online fact checker is needed go realize that the system is flawed and backwards and corrupt!!!!

If you're vegan, you should care about this stuff, too. Alternately, just don't watch the videos that don't appeal to you, rather than behaving as though your needs are all that matters, which isn't very vegan.
TiffanyIndigo give me a break. It takes you more time to click the video and leave an antagonizing comment than it would have for you to scroll past it in your feed. Get over it. most channels have occasional videos that don't fit the main theme of the channel. Big deal. This is a HUGELY important issue, much more so than 'clogging up your subscription box'.
If you start watching at 8:15 there is a lovely woman named Isabelle talking about the importance of natural, whole foods and also talks about her very own mushroom cacao latte product. So technically this has a cooking element to it. :) But seriously, I think I'm going to buy a bottle of it, it looks amazing!
