Eureka lemons are my favorite! I’m in SD myself and recently bought a dwarf Eureka lemon tree. Everyone says they love Meyer because it’s sweeter, but I personally feel Eurekas are sweeter. Maybe it’s my tastebud chemistry? The skin of Eureka tastes better to me as well when I zest it. I hope my tree grows as beautifully like yours someday!
You can prune it out a bit and try to train some branches to grow upwards. Beautiful lemons by the way the tree looks beautiful. Although some leaves look a lil yellow indicating nutrient deficiency. A foliar spray might help clear that up I'd recommend "citrus nutritional spray" you can find it at almost any big hardware stores garden department. Also clear up all that grass around the tree because the grass competes with the tree for available nutrients.
You're welcome Abed. I like both, but the do have different flavor profiles. The Eureka is thiker skin & the interior /pulp of the fruit has a tendency to get drier if left on the tree longer. The Improved Meyer lemon is juicier, but a bit sweeter. For juices, some people prefer the improved Meyer, but I love the Eureka look/smell/taste (a true sour lemon).
I don't think the heat is the issue but the main challenge may be humidity. It won't do well in a tropical setting (too much rain/humidity). It can handle regular heat w/out any issues
The plant is deficient in iron, / yellowing of the leaves / the soil is too calcareous / alkaline / and prevents the absorption of this metal. It seems good that such a small plant has a lot of lemons but that's wrong, next year the plant will not plant so many flowers and there will be few fruits.
I have one of these varieties on the way in the mail! Excited :)
You guys are the best! I love your videos and your daughters are amazing! ❤
It’s loaded 😮

What kind of fertilizer and how do you take care of the lemon tree in the frost
from indonesia
I wish you had compared it to the other common and popular variety, the Meyer new improved lemon.
I can certainly do that Blaise.
thanks for the review, how is it compared to improved Meyers lemons, in terms of skin thickness and juice.

Hello. May I know if I should thin the flowers? I have three and four flowers in one small branch. Thanks.
I woudn't remove the flowers just let the fruit set/establish and then remove it
@@thetreefather86 Thank you so much for your reply. I will leave them the way they are. Have a nice day.
You grow tree from seed?or grafting
It is a dwarf and it is grafted
How many backet can it fill or how many kg can it produce
never tried to count, but plenty of fruit
@@thetreefather86 estimate number of backet
Does this variety tolerate high temperatures? 45-47 C°
I don't see a reason why not. We're dealing with 40+ regularly and this variety is grown in the desert here in Southern California

Thanks , that was very helpful.❤️
I heard that eureka lemons don't like hot places is that true?

How do you make sure it's getting enough iron?
I'm from India. Can I get one of this plant to grow in our agri land?
I don't ship trees/seeds, but if you find this plant in your area, you should be able to grow it.
Thanks for your response dear
