Ive said it before and ill say it again, every time someone gives a really high recommendation for a good and deep romance its almost always written by a woman. I legit think this needs to be recognized more.
But because of that imo, the interactions between the guys are too idealistic. There's slim chance of that kind of interaction happening between guys. But the romance is superb.
I think it has to be taken into account that most romance authors are mainly women in the first place. Yes male authors will often incorporate some romance into their novels but these novels are almost never labeled as romance.

Kaoru hana is my favorite romance manga currently even if it has Romeo and Juilet plot the author still is able to turn these overused tropes into something special and wholesome that just other mangas with the same trope could not easily accomplish and also Rintaro's relationship with his parents is one of the realist things i have seen in a manga in such a long time! It's not unrealistic to think that teenagers communicate this way irl, but what might be considered unrealistic is how accepting and truly kindhearted the characters are portrayed, something that's a lot more hard to find irl. But the manga does show what's possible when you're sincere and straightforward around the right people. Good people are out there, ya just gotta look a lil harder sometimes. Just literally one of the most unique stories in all webtoons and manga. Just so- real. It teaches what friendships should be like. It's so wholesome and honest. It shows us how being real with ourselves and everyone around us is so beautiful, it shows acceptance and appreciation of the tiniest tings in life. Pretty much what most of us lack today. How all of us have something about ourselves we just want to just make disappear. It shows us how just as simple as accepting it and moving on can help us accept the people around us as they are and see them if they are true or not. These are just some of the simple life lessons you get from this. Believe me, if you're having a bad day, just pull out your phone and read this. You won't even know you'd be smiling (P. The story is about a boy who is very quiet and kindful but people alway give to him a scary look just because of his appearance like a hooligan and a very cute girl with good personality.They gradually likes each other.Unfortunately,the conflict of 2 high school they are pursuing is a serious problem that prevent 2 of them having a romantic relationship...The story after that,like Kito-senpai said in the video. I saw the manga a few years back but just put it in my to watch list. But when i saw the short you did on it, it reignited my interest and immediately read the whole thing in one day. Best decision ever! Honestly the romance is so good yet so real. Just watching this two interact makes me happy. The character feels alive in a sense. And the other characters are so relatable to me. Yet again thank you so much Kito Senpai for recommending me a master piece that I'll probably remember for decades to come 💕

I’ve been following this one for a while and while it has a little bit of a rough start imo with the school rivalry it’s genuinely one of the most wholesome and satisfying experiences you can get from the genre. I don’t need any fast relationship progress for this one either because it’s like you say incredibly realistic and believable yet also brings forth so much character development in general for all of the cast that it’s almost unreal at the same time. Just find yourself one friend that is like these guys and you have won in life. Or better yet, BE one of these guys. Not much anymore now and it’s got itself cemented a place in my top 10 manga. Warning: excessive use of apologies like „I’m sorry“ „my bad“ or the like, so if you want to make a drinking game out of that: don’t, you will not survive. xD

Guess what i have been following this for almost ay year..... And my only gripewith the srory is that the characters apologize to other characters a lot. Like i am pretty sure that normal teens dont apologize this much in their friend groups
i agree with that as someone with our own tight group for years, we've probably yelled slurs at each other more than sorry's. But even then i can still feel how tight knit they are in their actions and demeanor. Best i can guess is how they're very less jackassing and more honest which causes them to be more sorry since even the most loudest and off the edge in our group is actually pretty forgiving in the inside.
I saw how highly rated the manga was on MAL, took a gamble and ordered all the physical manga from my local Kinokuniya. 100% worth it and a great representation of realistic and healthy relationships. Still waiting for that next physical volume! One of the best I've read in a while, alongside Sekken to Ase.

Currently a manhwa called Maybe Meant to Be is my fav~ Okay this is kinda unrelated but does anyone else remember that weird time in the early 2000’s when everyone was doing “ pirate princess” stuff. I mean, if you go look at the stuff that was published in Hana to Yuma from 2002-2011 there’s so much. None of those series ever got popular and no one makes pirate princess stuff anymore. There was Fena a few years ago but in the words of the TH-camr No Bones, Fena’s hair went through more development then the characters.

I really love this manga. Simple, easygoing, but with great development and great friendship groups. Too many fall into the trope that the couple have to exists outside of their friendship group or else they will be mocked, but seeing Rintaro's friends stand up and support him was refreshing and added an extra layer to their whole friendship.

The story is about a boy who is very quiet and kindful but people alway give to him a scary look just because of his appearance like a hooligan and a very cute girl with good personality.They gradually likes each other.Unfortunately,the conflict of 2 high school they are pursuing is a serious problem that prevent 2 of them having a romantic relationship...The story after that,like Kito-senpai said in the video.

Reading this manga I feel like the characters are my children, growing up learning from each other and being there when times are hard, they're too wholesome! Every chapter just makes you feel content and the art is super pretty, I'm suprised not a lot of people are talking about it.

i read this manga last night, and i absolutely fell in love with it and its characters. (My favourite char is usami shohei by FAR)
I saw the manga a few years back but just put it in my to watch list. But when i saw the short you did on it, it reignited my interest and immediately read the whole thing in one day. Best decision ever!
Honestly the romance is so good yet so real. Just watching this two interact makes me happy. The character feels alive in a sense. And the other characters are so relatable to me.

I’ve been following this one for a while and while it has a little bit of a rough start imo with the school rivalry it’s genuinely one of the most wholesome and satisfying experiences you can get from the genre. I don’t need any fast relationship progress for this one either because it’s like you say incredibly realistic and believable yet also brings forth so much character development in general for all of the cast that it’s almost unreal at the same time. Just find yourself one friend that is like these guys and you have won in life. Or better yet, BE one of these guys.
Not much anymore now and it’s got itself cemented a place in my top 10 manga.

the amount of sweetness in this anime is so bad for my heart, for those who still hesitate to read the manga your at a loss , the manga isnt your average romance anime like kito senpai said , i also hesitated at the beginning too but i loved the way they both interacted each other with respect (unlike some animes), all this sweetness reminds me of how lonely i am lmfao 😭. anyway for those who have read it knows how amazing it is for those who havent i suggest you give it a try trust me you WILL love it

Guess what i have been following this for almost ay year..... And my only gripewith the srory is that the characters apologize to other characters a lot. Like i am pretty sure that normal teens dont apologize this much in their friend groups
i agree with that as someone with our own tight group for years, we've probably yelled slurs at each other more than sorry's. But even then i can still feel how tight knit they are in their actions and demeanor. Best i can guess is how they're very less jackassing and more honest which causes them to be more sorry since even the most loudest and off the edge in our group is actually pretty forgiving in the inside.

I saw how highly rated the manga was on MAL, took a gamble and ordered all the physical manga from my local Kinokuniya. 100% worth it and a great representation of realistic and healthy relationships. Still waiting for that next physical volume! One of the best I've read in a while, alongside Sekken to Ase.

Currently a manhwa called Maybe Meant to Be is my fav~ Okay this is kinda unrelated but does anyone else remember that weird time in the early 2000’s when everyone was doing “ pirate princess” stuff. I mean, if you go look at the stuff that was published in Hana to Yuma from 2002-2011 there’s so much. None of those series ever got popular and no one makes pirate princess stuff anymore. There was Fena a few years ago but in the words of the TH-camr No Bones, Fena’s hair went through more development then the characters.

I really love this manga. Simple, easygoing, but with great development and great friendship groups. Too many fall into the trope that the couple have to exists outside of their friendship group or else they will be mocked, but seeing Rintaro's friends stand up and support him was refreshing and added an extra layer to their whole friendship.

@@vickymbg3488 Hi. This manga is extremely wholesome and is concerned with non-sexually explicit romance. The key is definitely the development of emotional receptiveness between all the characters, particularly between the lead guy (Rintaro) and the lead girl (Waguri). Very family friendly.

Only finished chapter 1 but Ive loved it so far. Plays out like a well scripted shoujo anime (with a high production scale value). I have a soft spot for delinquents and thugs in manga. And this one fits the bill. Can't wait to see how it turns out between the ML and FL.
