Thank you so much James. Yes indeed, also in memory of the terrible Hillsborough disaster back in 89, this song provides strong emotions for everyone who sings or listen. 🤎

Thank you so much Bob. With the backdrop of this song being performed by so many across the world in memory of all the lost soles at the terrible Hillsborough disaster back in 1989, it becomes particularly moving to both sing and listen to it. Yes, for sure, through dedicated training Mathias is developing his voice and singing skills every day, and still has a long way to go before he reaches the ultimate classical level. But we hope he will get there one day. 🤎

You'll Never Walk Alone was written by Oscar Hammerstein and composed by Richard Rodgers for their musical Carousel. It became very popular first in America and then the UK and the rest of Europe.

Thank you for supplying this extra information, very appreciated, since we didn't really know who actually made the musical Carousel. But now we know. Thanks again. :-)

This song is most familiar to me as the signature song of the Liverpool FC fans at their home games at Anfield, although some other clubs have adopted it. Some of the fans use it to taunt the opposing team by singing "You'll never walk _again!_"

Yes, this song is actually from a former Broadway musical, but was performed and brought back to life for 12000 Liverpool fans the day after the terrible tragedy during the FA cup semifinal at Hillsborough stadium in Sheffield back in 1989, where 97 fans lost their lives following the chaos when far too many people were allowed into the spectator stands. In memory of this and their lost friends and families, this hymn is sung at every game Liverpool has played ever since.

Thank you so much Sir, Mathias is truly humbled and very happy to hear such wonderful words, they are greatly appreciated. So far he is only 16, and just started at the local highschool with music specialization here in Sandnes, Norway. This will take 3 years, during which he will continue to develop and improve, and only then will he be ready for further studies at a music conservatory. This is indeed the plan, and at that time, hopefully he will make it to the entrance acceptance at the concervatory of his choice, wherever in the world that might be. 🤎
