I picked up Dance Card, Atomic Cherry and lip gloss - Blush 💄 I still have in my collection Love Of My Life and Go Lightly from the first luxurious lucent lipsticks lunch. I really love this formula. Lisa is queen of beautiful, interesting and sophisticated hues and shades. There is always that extra something in her lipsticks 💘
You said it all perfectly Anna. I think we love how specific she is with her shade choices and they are largely different from anything we already have. I’m glad to hear the lucent lipstick from last year has held up well and you still love it. ❤️❤️❤️
I never thought I would look good in Dance Card because of my warm medium toned skin but you wearing it has convinced me I need to buy it! I also have pigmented lips and I have been skeptical that this line of sheer lipsticks would even show up on me. I love kitten mischief but I feel like it doesn't show up as well. The other shades of lipstick are gorgeous but I like how Dance Card really brightened up your face! Thank you for such a great review and helping us asian women out here pick out the shades we want.
Courtney, thanks for the comment! I was surprised at how good Dance Card looked and how well the colors showed up after 2 applications. Kitten Mischief appears more brown/red on me than it would on someone with lighter lip pigments if that helps. I'm so happy to hear you found the video helpful!

Juliet, my second order arrived yesterday and the new video is up. Even though, we had to be there right at launch to get what we want (and pay), I still feel spoiled trying all these fun and luxurious products. I love the lipstick formula and the Elevated Glow is gorgeous too.

Same problem over here. Got way more than I had planned. I definitely love the bright pink shades a lot after trying them. Painterly being really amazing too.

Yay! THE Lip Model is at it again -- these ALL look absolutely gorgeous on you.
Which is your favorite Hayao Miyazaki movie? (I binge-watched them a number of years back, lol.) I think my favorites in order are: 1. Castle in the Sky; 2. Howl's Moving Castle; 3. Kiki's Delivery Service. The visuals from Howl's Moving Castle, especially the castle moving through the fog, are stunning and I also LOVE the story of how a woman lets go of being timid and afraid of not being socially proper when she becomes "old." I actually like the short story of same name by Diana Wynne Jones more, from which Miyazaki sort-of took the plot, but I think that idea really resonated with him; a friend who lived in Japan for a long time observed that when women become grandmas in that culture, they really let everything hang out and do/say what they want. I thought that was cool because I knew a lot of very pretty young Japanese (not Japanese American) women in NYC who spent all their time shopping in SoHo boutiques and not doing much else because I think that's all they were allowed to do, being married to wealthy men.

My #1 is Totoro followed by Kiki's Delivery Service and 3rd is a toss up between Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away. I still haven't seen Castle in the Sky! I read the book thinking I would eventually see it. It hasn't happened yet. About the Japanese grandmas. They do have a reputation of doing as they pleased. I think for the most part, it doesn't extend to behavior that would inconvenience other people or break laws. I remember during my last trip to Japan, there were a line of grandmas coming through and basically they shoved people out of their way while saying sumimasen. lol
@@MichiMakesUp LOVE IT (story about the grandmas!!!) By the book for Castle in the Sky you mean Castle in the Air by Wynne-Jones, the plot & characters are completely different, although both are awesome and feature the amazing castle-land in the sky among clouds. I really hope you get to see the film by Miyazaki soon; it is so incredibly wonderful and fun!

So interesting, Spirited Away pulls a completely different undertone on me...more brown-nude-terracota than red.

@@MichiMakesUp I think your lips are more pigmented than mine so the color is more influenced by the undertone of your own lips. It would probably look even more different on someone with very pale lips.

I think Spirited Away goes down in history as their most internationally critically acclaimed movie. Totoro is the best in my opinion. Classic!

I have heard mixed reviews on the bitten lip tints. I may pick one up to try later this year. Hoping she releases more Posh Lipsticks shades.

the blushes are very interesting
It's like using acrylic paints the way you squeeze it out of the tube. Some of the blush shades have a thicker consistency.
