Thank you for sharing Elissa. I took the brushes with me for a work trip and they were great. The handles are light and like you said, high utility less guilt if they’re dropped. My first fude was Koyudo and then Sonia G for a long time until I tried Z series. They are absolutely lovely. I found my “stowed” away Z4 at work. Was so happy to reunite it with the rest. 😁

I’ve continued to use mine. I like that they don’t over release blush and highlighter duos.

Mine arrived last week. It is prettier in person. The wooden handle version will be my backup. Have you used yours?

@@MichiMakesUp I did just use it yesterday. I have the black handled revival one too, and they appear to be the same. I should put the wooden one away as the backup since I imagine the handle would be a little more prone to damage.

@@elissacox4291There is a healthy coating over the brush so I think it will be durable for normal use, but I agree the black handle looks hardier. It can sit pretty and be a backup. 😊

The blue and highlighter duos don’t come often so I just had to pick up one of the two. Does the baume dry to powder finish after applying or stays balmy?

@@MichiMakesUp It doesn't get powdery but it's more light gel that blends into the skin right away ... I just apply direct from the stick but with light hard and it's glow but in a subtle way. It doesn't disturb the blush underneath for me. Some folks apply the baumes as a primer layer for added glow but I haven't gotten into that.

That is my pick as well. That one went so quickly when it launched. 🧡

I have been disappointed with CT’s palettes so have not tried anything new recently except for their glow serum. Heard good things about Kiko and have not tried. Is it smudge proof as well?

@@MichiMakesUp I have a blush/highlight palette from holiday 2022 and the quality is top notch. KIKO has some real gems. I am glad we have an actual store in the city where I live.

@@ratherbquiltn I know some thought this launch was disappointing and fallout may be one of the reasons. Their mattes are superb and the Burgundy Perle has a shimmer to it but not sparkly like these and it’s great too.

@@MichiMakesUp Yes! I have many of the older ones including Burgundy Perle and so wish they had done these more like that one. I’m still going to try to figure out a way to reduce the fallout because I do love some of the colors.

@@ratherbquiltnDid you try with a primer underneath? I did not use a primer for mine. You could also try to put a layer of powder to set it. That’s what i do sometimes with kohl pencils.

Hi sweet Ruth! I was so excited to see the Stylos getting some love this season. They are sparkly so some people may not want that. In that case, I highly recommend the matte finishes. Family is doing well. Baby is now a toddler. Goes by so quickly.

Unfortunately, vegan goods are all made from plastic. This includes nylon with cotton/hemp specific canvas being an exception. I have put continuous thought into this area actually. I think given what is available to consumers today, decreased thoughtful consumption is the best solution.

Thank you! You have a point with their tones. They do not have neutral tones in their foundation so I blend two shades to get close to a match or just wear a bit of mismatch depending on the season and how much I can get away with it. haaaa

Hi Jocelyn! So nice to hear from you. ❤️ I am wearing Lacker today mixed with Merit’s Millennial. 😄 I love the shade both as is and toned down. I have no complaints in terms of comfort and quality. I think it comes down to shade preference and I feel better when a brand cares to go the extra mile for ingredients as well. I haven’t noticed them oxidize much in the first few hours but I also have dark lip pigment so I think it can appear deeper on me anyway. So happy to hear you like them.

lol I am light fall through spring and medium peak summer. I use Ilia Skin Tint Serum ST3 and 5 during those seasons and go to ST7 during summer. Have a look! Good product by the way. Another reference TF Shade and Illuminate Fawn 4.0 during cool months.

I am neutral tone as you pointed out. The foundation I am using in this video is Surratt's Dew Drop in shade 5 which is yellow tone. ha I usually mix it with shade 6 to get some pink, but it would make the foundation deeper overall and I haven't gotten much sun so it would look mismatched also. Can't win! But I love Dew Drop so wanted to wear it any way. I think the studio lighting and daylight makes it more obvious. I got a lot more sun in the past week, am several shades darker now and my new Ilia skin serum is not going to work. It's new so I'm a little sad I have to wait until fall to use it again. I'll try to add some serious bronzer to see if I can stretch it a few more weeks. The brand with a perfect foundation shade match for me if TF's Fawn! That is my shade from mid fall through early spring.

They do not unless I have too much in the attached small pocket flap then it flops around. The tech case that’s added divides the bag into two halves giving an organizational element. It’s pretty handy, but I will remove when I don’t plan to use it for anything.
