Would you know how to fix the rear AC for my 99 tahoe, Ac or fan just won't turn on for the rear, said that I'm replacing the the compressor with everything that comes in the kit. I know that chevy has a second blower on the rear with a condenser but I don't really know how to check that or fix it ? ? thankx . . .
What part number or parts for that purple wire is there going in to the Blower Motor? I’d like to replace mine if possible when I replace my fan and actuator. The purple wire Looks like it connects to a a 1/4 spade? Mine is old and brittle and I’m worried about it shorting out. Thank you in advance for anyone who knows how to replace the purple wire to these.

Hello! I changed a new pressure switch to ac and the air conditioning worked fine like for 5 minutes. Then something happened and now the HVAC doesn't adjust any settings anymore. Plowing just cold air inside cause its winter now. Also cannot change where to plow air. Fuses are ok. Is it possible that hvac burned? Can you tell where the problem is?
My blower motor is not blowing air it worked on 1 and 3 but now it won't blow at all. I did check all fuse everything was good.what should I do from here.
Mine turned out to be the ground wire popped off. I took this out early last year to clean everything out of the housing and must not have pushed it all the way on and it eventually vibrated off.
When I got my truck the blower would work only sometimes when I turned it on. My friend said I probably need a new switch board because it melts. What do you think? I'm going to check the fuses tomorrow.
So question does that mean if the controls is turned on high and there is power going to the blower motor on that purple wire... The blower should turn on right, unless the blower motor does not work... Another question is does the blower resistor also send power through the purple wire. If so, does that mean if there is no power in the purple wire when the ac controls is not on off or high.... Then would the blower resistor be bad Any one who knows please respond trying to figure out why my blower motor is not turning on, thanks : )... If my truck heater was on full blast and I came back to the truck and the inside of it was filled with a smoke plastic smell no blower motor on nothing anymore what can it be the fuse the motor the resistor?
Yeah my blower works on high only I replaced the resistor resistor plug it’s getting power and I can’t figure out what’s wrong but for some reason the blower turns off when I put the truck in 4wd?? So I’m very confused
99 Tahoe doesn’t go to “high speed”. I tried adding a new relay to see if this would fix it, but still doesn’t do it. Once the relay is out of line no AC works, which is correct I assume. Would it likely be the Resistor instead?
@@kaidenc1500 I changed the resistor and got it working. Then it stopped. Changed resistor again, and fuse keeps blowing. Might have to change resistor one more time and add a fuse to see if it works then try installing the resistor back into air flow box without causing it to break. The coils probably touch and short out.

@@anthonypequeno1086 ehh if I remember my ac speed controls were messed up and found out the blower motor was out as well...so I replaced that both

Sounds like the blower motor itself may have gotten fried. I would definitely inspect the fuses and the wiring to the blower motor

can i take the fan blower out side and test them with the 12 v battery?
idk, but i know you can use a multimeter to see if your getting power or not.

I’m going through the same thing right now and from what I’m getting you’re plug in to you’re resistor might be corroded or burnt

What fuse is the dash AC button? My lights don’t turn on on the dash or blower?
If you pull the cover off, there should be a "map" on the inside of the cover
