Totally agree. They almost pretty much seem like they grew up together at times and it's actually great. Almost wholesome.. for this group.

There’s literally no character pairings in this show that I don’t love. All five characters. Combine any two or three of them and it’s comedy gold.
It's the Chrono trigger of sitcoms.
Frank and Dee is the most underrated combo
charlie with anyone is always gold
The way Charlie and Dee bounce off of eachother is fantastic, especially away from the gang since they’re the ones always getting shat on by the gang
Mac and Dee is so rare and so underrated tbh
It's kinda cute when Dennis is genuinely concerned for Dee when she's standing on that rolling chair.

@@sabrina63 first of all, he doesn't even know she's gonna be a surrogate. Second, of course he would say that, he almost never showed her he cares about her, except of some rare moments in the series he was hiding it, so here he was acting like he's concerned about baby and not about Dee
It’s also hilarious when they include small traits or actions in Dee and Dennis which make it clear that Frank was the person who raised them, as well as ruined them as humans lmao

My absolute favorite part of this show is the way they talk to each other completely ignoring the other person in the room

Dennis being caring & nice to Dee when she was pregnant..... has got to be the SWEETEST Dennis moments of the entire show. That & also when he carried around a cat, defending the cat against ALL his friends. That was also the sweetest Dennis moment lol
the scene in the hospital when she's pregnant and he's giving her shit for being reckless is really wholesome

Their choice of cast is on point. Their mother really explains where they come from. She is by far the worst from them all. At least Frank bails them out and parents them to an extent.

I do love how this show takes almost every pairing and uses it to good effect in some episodes, then smoothly moves to totally conflicting dynamics in the next one.
It's efficient character writing, compare with the bloated big bang theory cast (look, it's a shitty extreme example), where half the characters have almost no conversations with others
Let’s show a little appreciation to Frank for facilitating this sibling dynamic

This might be the funniest IASIP compilation I've ever seen. When these two are on the same wavelength it is only for the SILLIEST of shit
it's so good how every time this dynamic appears, it's because of them both steamrolling, scamming, condescending to, or otherwise taking advantage of someone else.
nothing brings them together like their own self-centeredness, because that's the one thing they have in common.
the only exception is when dee's pregnant, where dennis seems to genuinely want to keep her safe and dee is just acting like normal and not really comprehending that he's genuinely caring about her

The evil twin dynamic is awesome

They're not wrong about Steve Winwood's "Higher Love"..classic
The thing with this pairing is that it seems like Dennis at his most comfortable. When hes with Mac, he's constantly trying to get rid of him. When its with Charlie, the two dont understand one another at all. And its clear being around Frank dredges up a lot of bad memories.
