Several years ago I purchased the ruffles foot but I never used it successfully. Thank you for the tutorial. For the first time I am actually making something beautiful with it. 😊

This helped me so much. Thank you. I had a hard time seeing how you were threading the foot at first because of the white fabric on the white table. But the colored fabric made it clear for me. Thank you.

This is by far the best and most comprehensive video of using the Ruffler foot. You explain everything and all the options in detail which makes it better for visual learners. Thank you.

Hi Alba, I want to thank you for such complete an thorough instructions regarding the RF foot. I made my own clothes way back in the early 70s. I have forgotten how to use it. I am now confident in practicing making ruffles once again. Thank you, you are appreciated.

    1. this was INCREDIBLY helpful as I was planning to make a petticoat and this si going to make it insanely easier to do.
    2. This tutorial was wonderfully clear, concise and informative and helped me trouble shoot why my new ruffler foot was behaving oddly.
    3. Your hairstyle in this vid is glorious. Just gotta throw that out there.

What a fantastic and thorough description and breakdown of the ruffler attachment. I purchased one the day I attended your zippered bag and ruler work class at And Sew She Did in Douglas, GA. We greatly enjoyed the time with you and learned so much. I always learn when I watch your TH-cam videos. Hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season!

Absolutely amazing tutorial, thank you so much. So easy to follow and you explain everything so fully and well. If I could however give a little constructive advice here, it would have been easier to see the fabric samples better if they were in a colored fabric and not white. I found it a little hard to see the white fabric against the white machine.

Thank you again for another wonderful tutorial - I always find them so interesting because you explain everything so well and demonstrate at the same time, which is how I learn best. I don't have a ruffler foot, and not sure if I would use it at this stage, but I can see how it would have so many applications - clothes, costumes, bags, home dec, and I don't think it looks intimidating at all, I think it looks totally cool, I'd buy it just for the look of it😊. Once again thank you and God bless.

I have a Janome C-30 I just purchased. Stitch width is 5mm low shank. I am wondering what feet are compatible with this model. I love this ruffler attachment and you gave a very detailed explanation of the best use, which is exactly what is required to get the most from the attachment. Thank you. x

Tighten the foot screw with the screwdriver and the needle screw too. Use the flywheel to make the first stitch every time to ensure needle is centered.
