We had an old Viscount that wasn't too fond of corrugations. Had the fridge door completely drop off once and a water pipe broke so we had no water when we arrived at camp. All part of the fun.
I hope you enjoyed your time in the riverland and checking out my home town. Made me very jealous watching it lol. You guys are famous now. You can't go anywhere without being recognised 😂

I asked if she remembered who you guys were and she said "duh!!" you have been watching them for ages and talk about them all the time. I didn't realise that. I wait for your videos and look forward to them! We will be out and about in our van soon (I hope) and know very little about caravanning. You guys inspire me in some way every video. Thanks for the great content and being yourselves. You are so much fun to watch. Safe travels Ian
Great to see you enjoying the new chapter🎉...got a tip for dust...may be worth in the future...reverse the door and install a filtered air scoop on the roof to pressurise your cabin. Will push air out rather than in. Have fun.
If you want to stop dust in your van put a snorkel on top of your van roof you can use 100 mm plumbing pipe and a bend- this creates positive airflow pressure in the van to push dust out
Hope you appreciate the eclectic and adventurous life you’ve created for yourselves, it’s an extraordinary lifestyle that few people your age live or experience’ 🔥😎
Myrtle has been so well restored that’s why people are attracted to her, you ought to pat yourselves on the back for all the hard work that you put into her. It’s a beautiful caravan. Yes they did travel around Oz in vans like that and no solar, batteries etc to speak of, even the old VW wagons use to do the lap with no mod cons and they had a ball. Mungo NP is a dream of mine after I come back from WA. Cheers Judy

Been a while since I've been able to 'catch up' with you guys. Myrtle looks great! Congrats. Oh, I wish you had been able to do the Mungo NP tour, I'm sure it would've been spectacular. On our Bucket List for sure. Looking forward to more vids. Cheers.
Hi guys, I think it’s that big green and white van you’re towing around behind you, that is getting you all the attention. When you were in the troopie there was so many troopies getting around that you would never be quite sure who was behind the wheel the van gives us a good guess 😜
You are visiting some really cool places and you’re giving me ideas of really fantastic places to see! Thank you, love the videos and what you’re doing, bumpy roads and all! 🤪
Little air fryer hacks/ tips. I add a tiny bit of water at the bottom of the tray when cooking chicken, lamb, souvlaki ect to keep it nice (and hate this word) moist*. Also if you put a cake tin, the same size as your air fryer bucket, it's great for cooking thick omelettes, or putting water in the tin and you can steam dim Sims, porn bun, and dumplings.

I went to Mungo a couple of months ago in my tiny Mazda 2, and camped all by myself in the other campsite half around the circuit. Fabulous but Jesus, those roads. Oh, and I was there mid-grading.
Hi guys great video A good way to practise awareness is to remember peoples names by associating their name with something, I guess you already knew that Megan probably was just so excited to meet people.❤
If it helps, you’re not the only ones having trouble adapting to daylight saving this year. At the beginning of this year we swapped from a caravan to a motor home and something we didn’t expect was the amount of rattles and squeaks we had to address. We have them mostly sorted now but I can assure you the amount of noise inside Mertle while you’re on corrugated road is ten times worse than you think. But, she survived and will continue to survive because she was built well. Don’t kid yourselves about “off road” caravans, a lot of them are little more than a normal caravan with a raised suspension and some aluminium checker plate slapped on the sides. Cheers, Stuart & Leanne. Canberra.

How different is the landscape at Mungo National Park, different to anywhere else in Aus, and so much history. I went there years ago in a little 2wd on a day that was 45 degrees, and the road was not graded, so hectic but a great adventure. Also how cool that you are recognized on the middle of nowhere, nowhere to hide now guys 😂😂
Nothing beats the feeling getting into those places with your caravan. Yes, corrugated roads aren’t ideal, but you pretty quickly realise what you need to pack away to prepare and if you do regular checks of wheel bearings etc. It should be ok. I’ve never had a dust extractor and I’m sure it would be great, but you do get used to living with the dust.

Everyone says ‘The caravan’s fine’ when going over rough roads. That’s because they aren’t IN it. Try sitting inside one on a dirt road. It’s horrendous! I don’t know how they don’t fall apart!! The noise and all the visibly shaking parts is scarey.

First comment, woohoo!! Keep up the awesome work guys!
🙏 Thanks for watching!
Hey Guy’s, love your video’s. Been trying really hard to ignore this and look past it but I “think” I saw a gas bottle behind the seats of your Toyota. This is not a good idea. If it starts leaking it can be very dangerous for you. Stick it on the roof rack. 😊
Damn had i have know i could have got you a free tour at Mungo
🥲
Are you back on the road full-time or just doing a little trip for now?
Do you guy's drop the tyre Pressures on these rough roads and vari your speed ?
Yes 😊
Everyone says ‘The caravan’s fine’ when going over rough roads. That’s because they aren’t IN it. Try sitting inside one on a dirt road. It’s horrendous! I don’t know how they don’t fall apart!! The noise and all the visibly shaking parts is scarey.
😂 Me either some how it’s stayed together!
“Science” lol
They (air fryer) are amazing hey
😂
