I'm not grest at wrapping gifts, my husband does that but sometimes I just use gift bags with tissue paper on top. Brilliant ideas that I'll certainly be doing. I live in a retirement complex for independent living and Ive got a group of women who want to take part in decorating the communal lounge. I'll be using your tutorial to inspire them. Don't use wrapping paper or gift bags. I use gift boxes and stack them in ascending order so each member of the family receives a tower of gifts tied together with a beautiful bow. No mess quick and easy and looks beautiful around the tree
I usually wrap presents. I do a different theme each year. Christmas characters ( Grinch, Snowman, Santa, etc). Another is doing all black/ white papers and ribbons. Also, all red and green papers/ribbons, a third year.
I prefer using gift wrap to bags, but for some of my gifting I use the gift bags. I think for this year, I’m going to try adding the ribbon to my Christmas tree. Would you recommend using ribbon with wire or no wire? I love all these ideas ❤

I suck at wrapping and use lots of tape...lol...but I love the look of wrapped gifts. It makes it neater abd look like you took more time. But now they have such gorgeous gift bags so it is a hard call and it does depend on how easy the gift is to wrap and i have done both & make fancy ribbon ties like curly ribbon & tie in candy or a gift card so I try to decorate the gift bag too . You are so creative & inventive so which way do you prefer Shannon?

We always call that way of tying bows is the “ bunny ear bow” - the two loops you start with looking like bunnies ears😀
