I was going to say that with the clues "Pullman and compartment", that piece must be train related. How fun! My grandfather was an engineer. Great piece of history.! ❤
Fun auction …I was so surprised to see a wooden basket like mine! It’s the tall wooden basket with the tall bent looking handle. I’ve never seen another one till now. I use mine for a blanket basket and i just love it. I thought maybe it was a grain basket but not sure. The lucite grape bunches brought back memories from my childhood. My aunt was a crafter and she used to make them. Thanks for showing us your haul!
Yes, that was quite a journey thru the haunted mansion, buying cool stuff and making friends . So fun seeing all the many things , all those boxes of just that one dinner design ,,,wow! thank you again for taking us along 👻
I haven’t even finished the video yet but when I saw those red/pink transfer wear plates… I sucked in all the oxygen in the room! Absolutely beautiful and something I’ve been searching for, for a long time. I wish I was there to get that entire huge set! I’ll keep watching now to see your amazing treasure you always come out with. ❤❤❤
The chalk ware dog bank -- the impression date of 1936 would be the mold date. The 1938 in pencil was when the person painted it for themselves or someone else. I often see this on vinyl dolls - the back of the head has the vinyl mold mark but the tag has the actual date of manufacture
They have little Santa mugs at Walmart this year. They have a red Santa mug, a pink Santa mug, and a red boot. They are Mr Christmas. I think they are like $2.50 each. Love watching your channel. Thank you for all the inspiration.
Love this haul!! I have one of the wooden baskets. Bought at a yard sale because it was cool looking. So glad to find out from the comments what it is. I keep large pinecones with fairy lights strung thru them in mine.
Fun and beautiful goodies. The needlework piece is special to me. My mother, who has been gone for 10 years, made me the exact same piece in the 80’s. The frame was also the same. I removed the crewel work and hand washed it in Woolite soap and it came out perfectly. I need to reframe it and find a place in my very small home to hang it. It was one of the only pieces she did for me. I cherish it. Thank you for sharing. ❤❤
I think Chris is right on the Vaseline glass things you put under your furniture they were to keep the casters from rolling. I’ve seen them when I was much younger. Of course I’m 80 now. And that thing you call amplitude I believe as a compote dish. A layered pudding/fruit to look good.
My grandparents made a lot of resin molds in the 1960's and they made a lot of the grape clusters. Yes, they also used some driftwood as the bases. Fun to see all of the grape clusters!
My mom had that Pyrex 5 bowl set. It brought back so many memories of her yummy cooking and baking. Loved how Tator was weaving his way through all your finds💕
lots of goodies! the big lightbulb is a shocker to be sold for so much! those ducks looked gorgeous. love watching you guys at the auctions and the hauls.❤❤🌹
It has been wonderful to see the treasures you collected from the haunted house. Knowing the gentleman’s treasures are being saved brings joy to me heart as does seeing you both! Thank you x
I love watching your journey videos. I too love going through boxes looking for treasures. And ohh the excitement you feel when you find some. Thanks for sharing.
I can’t get over the amount of artwork that man accumulated. That was just unreal how many auctions they had for one gigantic house. I’m glad you scooped up that beautiful blue compote with the lid. That was really beautiful. You picked up some very nice pieces. Well done.
Yvonne- that Pyrex set is called the Primary Color Pattern. I actually lucked in and found a set at my local Goodwill last year. I paid under $15.00 for the whole set! I brought them home and used Barkeepers Friend on them and they look like a brand new set. I haven’t seen any under 175.00. I was so excited that day! Probably my best ever find at all the Goodwills I travel to. Great finds on Chris’s and your finds. ❤
Is it true Pyrex has lead in it? Do you actually use yours? I am just curious, no judgement. I see a lot of reels on FB of Pyrex finds at thrift stores, so am trying to learn. Thanks!
@@susannoll6032 I don’t use mine- I have them on display. My Mom and Mother-in-law use theirs all the time. Don’t ever put them in the dishwasher though. It will take the finish off.
Loved coming along to this house with you in each video! I think the "harvesting baskets" are antique rice bins. Seeing Tater in your videos is always a treat.
I am all caught up on your videos here and anxiously wait your next video.. I love to go antiquing and auctions with you. I can’t wait to get the piece I obtained on your eBay site
Awww...so sad that we can no longer see you at the haunted mansion. But, you did pick up some neat items. I love the blue compote, the rubber stamp holder, the 2 fairy lights, and on and on. And the 💡! And Chris got some neat coins and trucks. So good to hear the rest was going to Goodwill. I hope someone refurbishes the mansion.
The little yellow dog at 23:09 is a Scottie dog. So cute! Re: the ducks, at around 33 min., they are probably not decoys, but for decoration. My husband, who knows woods, said they look like walnut, and walnut is good for carving. I love the antique trucks. Maybe Chris will let you put Christmas assemblages in them, Yvonne -- (or are they too valuable?) What a haul!
I’m glad someone was getting the unwanted items for Goodwill. I absolutely loved the blue compote ( sorry piece top😂😂😂). You really picked up some fantastic pieces and you are right, it’s kinda of sad that is was the last auction. My sister had golden set of the huge grapes. Happy shopping for small Santa mugs.😂. 😊❤
Hello Yvonne and Chris! Great video. Loved all your treasures. I think the two wooden ducks might be made of ironwood (not 100% positive). Love the pyrex!! And, I love the lucite grapes!!! Thank you for sharing. Sincerely, Diane from Missouri. 😊
Thank you Yvonne and Chris for bringing us along. Auctions are my #1 favorite way to thrift. Kudos to the auctioneer staff; the work put into these 7 auctions must have been overwhelming. Luv your haul! Blessings from Chris in Springfield.🙏💙
There is a multi-colored vase on the table. It may be “ End of the Day” glass. At the end of the day, glassblowers would pour all the color into a final piece. Cannot see it well enough to tell.
I love Pyrex !!! Although I'm not an expert on it either, but I do believe that the black casserole with the snowflakes is one of the more rare patterns.💕
So sad for the last haunted mansion auction 😢 I have really enjoyed seeing everything. My husband was laughing at me , because I was yelling to pick different things. It was super sweet of Chris to to say you needed more mini mugs❤
George M Pullman invented the train sleeper car. A piece genuine history.
Railroad collectors will love it!
When she showed the name that was what I thought!!
Awwww! Loved how Chris asked you if you needed to shop for more mini Santa mugs for the stamp holder! What a great husband! Loved the video!
🎅🏼🎅🏼❤️
If I've said it once, I've said it 1,000 times..."EVERY woman needs a Chris!" Lol, but not really!
when I was growing up, everyone had those lucite grapes on the coffee table, end tables or dining room table
My husband and I love watching to see what treasures you guys got! I hope they are able to save that house and not tear it down!
Would be cute to display the blocks in the Bingo cage.
I was going to say that with the clues "Pullman and compartment", that piece must be train related. How fun! My grandfather was an engineer. Great piece of history.! ❤
You two work so well together! You're an amazing couple! My husband and I also enjoy "fixing up" our place together. It's so satisfying.
My baby grand piano came with these under the wheels 😇
Thanks for taking us along to the haunted house auctions! Get a glimpse of something i would not get to see otherwise ❤
Thanks so much for taking us along! Such fun!! Great finds!
So sad it's the last auction - you both found some amazing pieces
I have the embroidered piece that says..Life is fragile, handle it with prayer. I thrifted it about ten yrs. ago, and I just love it!
Thank you for sharing all your videos and it is wonderful and a blessing for both husband and wife to enjoy same interest together
It is nice to share with others that have the same interests 💕
I think the winter scene is a Grandma Moses. It's lovely. Love it.
Love digging in the boxes with you…. I find myself craning my neck over the screen trying to get a better look as if I was beside you!😂😂
The "life is fragile" crewel picture is from the company "Creative Circle" from the 70~s / 80`s . They were a "home party co."
I want that case with the religious artifacts. Can you sell it outright to me? Pleeeeaaaasssseeee😊

whoa Yvonne, that was a huge collection they had at that house! Sheesh! Fun! I hope you got the “Hello Beautiful” piece. That was a bargain!
I am still wondering about this unique gentleman… what a collection

What a great haul. Loved watching the 2 of you together explaining the haul. So fun!
That was a fun auction to watch. Amazing that the house was finally emptied. I think you bought amazing pieces.

Hamilton malt maker! The green one is beautiful! Wow Pyrex set in the box!!!?!
Love this haul!! I have one of the wooden baskets. Bought at a yard sale because it was cool looking. So glad to find out from the comments what it is. I keep large pinecones with fairy lights strung thru them in mine.
It's been great seeing all these auctions and you got some lovely things I think Tater thought so too ! 😊❤

The thread color didn't bleed?
No no bleed. It just needs to be steam pressed and reframed.

Just a wonderful haul, all of it!!!❤
Have fun, can’t wait to see what you found 🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️😇
My husband would go crazy over the old JD tractors ♥️♥️♥️
My grandparents made a lot of resin molds in the 1960's and they made a lot of the grape clusters. Yes, they also used some driftwood as the bases. Fun to see all of the grape clusters!
Hope you we’re lucky enough to get one
Sad that auction is over. You have great finds. Thanks for sharing.
We used to make those grapes back in the late sixties-early seventies. Fun!
Absolutely awesome. So much fun to watch. Great haul for sure. TFS Yvonne and Chris.
Love from Texas!
Glad you enjoyed it❤
Great finds🎉 So sad the auctions are over😢 Thanks for sharing?❤

I love to see all your treasures
Oh to be Tator amongst all the Treasure 😂♥️♥️♥️. Love your channel. Tyfs 😍
Love all your precious finds ❤
Those "wooden" ducks may be ironwood. Grows in Arizona. A lot of carvings from Mexico come from Ironwood trees.
Wow! That's all I can say! Wow!
lots of goodies! the big lightbulb is a shocker to be sold for so much! those ducks looked gorgeous. love watching you guys at the auctions and the hauls.❤❤🌹

The wooden boxes with handles are Chinese rice measures. Desirable.

Oh wow how could one man fill a house like that … he must have slept in the broom closet lol 😂. You got some amazing stuff Yvonne ❤
Love this!
Love the grapes. I have put them in my Christmas tree at Xmas. I just set them in the limbs . Just adds color and pretty to the tree

Get yourself a gopro and a chest strap to hold it so your hands free to dig through boxes and people can still see everything.
Score on the Pyrex. Over the years I’ve had 4 sets of the Primary colors set, sold all but 1.
🤞they will sell for us
Best item hands down is that italian vase, very uncommon pattern. Thanks for the video.
I love Pyrex !!! Although I'm not an expert on it either, but I do believe that the black casserole with the snowflakes is one of the more rare patterns.💕
Love the Pyrex that came in the original box, So wish I was closer to you to buy it.
Amazing finds, glad you got there 4 times. 😊
Great haul!
Thank you! 😊
That was a good haul today! So many items I would really like. Wished I lived closer. :) Thanks for sharing!
Mini books might come apart if you use low heat blow dryer to separate. Just a thought.
Oh that Tater! He is so busy checking out things to make sure the house is safe😂!
