Hi Josh, I have a question for both your IT and Cyber Security courses. What are the hardware requirements to take either course, if any? I'm currently using a mac m1 and I know there are some limitations when it comes to using virtual machines like VirtualBox (currently using UTM). I know the labs require setting up virtual environments so I just wanted to make sure I would be okay going forward with the courses with my current set up. Hope to hear back, thanks!
@@robindiamondhands6416 were you having an issue where the file was telling you you already have a majority of the deck? and it would only import like 20 total? I just downloaded it like an hour ago and I'm having issues getting it up and running in the app
Thank you Josh for giving back and allowing these test for free. Truly a blessing and very appreciated. I am taking your course careers course by the way. 😊
Hey Josh, great video and so true. I’ve lost my job two months ago and been on several interviews. You can have all the certs in the world, but if you can’t interview well, then it makes more challenging to get a job. Lots of completion out there! I’ll apply to jobs and it will be one posting and 20 + candidates applying. Hopefully the job market gets better
Thanks for the kind words and I commend your hard work. And yeah, the market (like most other things) goes in cycles and it can be rough. We just gotta be as employable as we can be for when the market takes a down turn. Check out this video where I talk about dealing with those high applicant jobs: th-cam.com/video/jQCqglG5IBQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=y-9xM4nJUJmQgztr Basically it's work considering moving, because those flyover states have much less applicant pool and the skill level tends to be lower honestly, so it tends to be easier to get jobs in places like those. It's worth considering in the interim at least ^^
omg I’ve been wanting to keep learning and advancing my skills as I was previously in a remote desk role and now working in desktop support and this video came to me perfectly! I have little background (I mean I came into my desktop role not knowing that different chargers had different names type of limited knowledge)!! I really appreciate your channel and a few others but yours is so helpful and continuously straight to the point with no fluff or catches!
Been trying to get into IT for MONTHS now but always get worried with the job I currently have I simply don't have the time to learn and getting the coursework is not cheap and so I don't wanna waist my money so this could be helpful to test the knowledge to see what I know and where I would go from there in terms of learning. Definitely gonna watch that other video as I know companies ask a LOT of questions and you gotta basically sell yourself in an interview (knew someone that did it and the bullshitted it pretty hard and managed to get a job)
Hi, @JoshMadakor, I think the answer to this question is not entirely correct as this is a "Wireless Connection". A. Reconnect or replace a bad or loose network cable is the problematic one but I thought I'd check with you as you are the expert and I hope you can throw some light on this one. I'm copying and pasting the full question, and explanation below: What are some steps that can be taken to improve intermittent wireless connectivity? A. Reconnect or replace a bad or loose network cable B. Change the Wi-Fi antenna’s position or move closer to the router or AP C. Power down the system and reseat or replace a bad NIC D. All of the above Correct Answer: D. All of the above Explanation: Intermittent wireless connection can be improved by several methods: reconnecting or replacing a bad or loose network cable, changing the position of the Wi-Fi antenna or moving closer to the router or AP, power down the system and reseat or replace a bad NIC. Therefore, all of the mentioned measures can be taken to improve the situation.
Hey thanks for the info. I downloaded Anki and everything else but I only get 20 questions per section and know there is more than that. Any idea why this is going on?
As he already stated in the video, Anki is free for Windows, Mac and Android. The iOS version costs $25, not $35. Use the desktop or web version if you have iOS. You were probably duped into using a fake Anki app.
Has anyone used this exact method for core 2? I have this exam on the 28th. I’m currently feel uneasy. I already put 12 hours into the video and feel like I haven’t learned much by just watching the videos for the prime stage.

Hi, thank you for raising this issue. If this happens again, can you send me a screenshot or screen record in my email or IG? this will be a big help. Thank you so much!
when I import the anki deck from your website it only shows 20 cards for each topic in my anki. also the links in the email dont seem to work i have to copy and paste the link manually
Hi Everyone, can someone share how to import the full deck into Anki? I'm able to see all of the questions, but it's only in the simple model view. I'm unable to view the screen in which it breaks down each category as reflected on the Josh's website. Any suggestions?
If already have google it support cert and your intro to IT course cert, does it still make sense to do A+ ? Could I just move on to network+ and security +?
Update: Thanks to another user in the comments section, I found out this issue has to do with the default daily limit set to 20 cards. If you hover over the name of a deck or section of a deck, there's a Settings cog on the right. Click the cog, click Options, then set your daily limit to above 20 (probably just set it to well above the amount of cards in the deck so you know you're not truncating the deck at all)
@@nusasatya177 yes actually. You can into the settings on Anki and change the amount offered per day. It took me like 10-15 minutes to find. Reply again if you still struggle and I’ll find the exact settings for you.

Any reason why my Anki deck after importing the deck shows 20 on new rather than 602 etc, it shows 20 for every single column
it shows 20 for me as well, not sure tbh
same but his website has the same materials you can study though the website if you go by section.
If you hover over one of the decks it will show a settings menu on the end. Click it, then options. Then set both the daily limits to 2000.
