Ahh the KE100, takes me back. I'm 46 now, but when I was 17 years old I went to my nearest town to help my mother with her shopping, and came home with a 6 month old white KE100 - L registration (1993/94 UK) that an RAF pilot had owned for its first 6 months on the road to gain a bit of confidence before upping his game after passing his riders licence. It had about 600 miles on it and was in mint condition. My mother had to sign as a guarantor on my first ever finance deal and I rode home from our shopping trip with my first ever legal road bike. Better still, my friend had a green J reg (1991/92 UK) and we road the wheels of them. Total freedom ! I've never been without a motorcycle since and currently ride a ZRX1200r in green (the fast colour 😝)
I agree, I knew a ke100 and 2 175s from the day, if I remember they where more of a dark green and filthy muddy. But to see a lime green one that clean, it really pops out

Amazing bikes, I’d love to see a barn find xr650r. My dad has been wanting one since he sold his about 7 years ago but I can’t find any decent ones out there.
Its getting harder and harder to find those diamonds in the rough. Almost everything I check out, that was ridden in the dirt, needs a engine out resto and they want top dollar for it. Seems like just yesterday you could pick up a used CR/KX/YZ/RM........ for almost nothing. Guess Im getting old.

@@johnfields6603 By far the KE125 is faster than the KE100. Had a 1980's KE125 right on my but while riding an 1976 XL350 on the road and I was on the power. On the street they are quick, on the dirt not really enough torque to keep it revving up high. Hard pack trail they are good, muddy = bad.

Wow, that's a whole lotta trackin' down LOL! Seriously, that man is one highly committed enthusiast, and that's a really impressive collection. I can't believe he let those all go in one shot. The rest of his collection must be mind boggling.
I was working for a yamaha dealership when the midnight models came out ..the first one we got was a 750 v twin virago .they had 80 spoke gold anodized rims with the spokes laced in closely nit of 40 pairs of spokes and the body is the all black with the gold trim ..the GRX kaw is the type of aftermarket parts all bikes need in brakes and suspension ..this is the aftermarket brembos and ohlins you need on the 2022 eddie lawson replica kawasaki Pearl racing green .. In 1988 was the only year the XR600 came stock with 2 individual polished stainless steel header pipes and super trapp made a stainless steel pro pipe to fit so you could have a complete stainless exhaust ..on all years 1988 and newer
So an answer to one question. The Klx 400 is identical to suzuki DRZ 400 , the 2 companies merged for a couple years. If that is the dirt version, it is actu!actually! A much hotter engine then the dual sport engine. Higher compression piston , hotter cam and a larger non emissions carberator.
I owned a 1983 GPz750 new which was the first year of the half fairing. The 1982 had a tiny shroud just around the headlight. It was a heavy bike but topped out over 130mph.
I got into riding back in '85 because it was an inexpensive mode of transportation...$1000 for a used XJ 650 ...changed the oil, couple of tires and added gas. I am in awww of this guy and his passion, but DAMN, that would cost a literal fortune to do here in Canada.
This guy is worthy of working for you maybe part-time tracking things down and making things happen. He obviously loves motorcycles, and evidently he's got it goin on! This guy is no joke.✊

XR 650R The torque monster. I had an 01.
@@douglasbarrows8110 killer, my dad had a 2007, then sold it in 2012. Little did we know that they would never be produced again. I’m looking for an absolute gem so he can get another.
I started dirt bike riding on a ke 100 , great times , great memories .
The one there looks outstanding, strange set up with carburettor!!
My first bike was a “76 KE 125 ,it was a tough little bike .
@@jonmccormick8683 Lol yeah they were great bikes,l was 14 years old when l got mine and that’s where it all began . I am currently restoring my third CR500 now .🙂
Wow man that is one cool lot of bikes sweet God bless to the kaplans right on man
Wow, that's a whole lotta trackin' down LOL! Seriously, that man is one highly committed enthusiast, and that's a really impressive collection. I can't believe he let those all go in one shot. The rest of his collection must be mind boggling.
Beautiful collection. Thanks for sharing
I enjoy all your videos Cap. Your the real deal my friend
I like his flag on the porch and that 600R is sweet.
I have an 86 XL250. Still have it. Thrashed it for over 30,000 miles and it still runs. Amazing bikes...
Maaaaan… that KE100 brings me back… was the FIRST motorcycle I’ve ever owned. Funnest summer I had as a child. Sweet bikes!
I had the 50cc Yamaha as a kid. Loved it. This brings back great memories!
Wow!!!! What a pick Ken. 👏 That guy is awesome. His bikes are awesome. Just so so cool man.
So I thought I would say something about the bike I liked most... but I cant...I fricken love them all...🤘😆
The thing I've always loved about bikes.....they show a persons personality more than any other vehicle in every which way possible!
I love this guy, he has the best collection ever!
This guy cleans his bikes real good wow
It's a little easier for him because it seems like his bikes are mostly brand new!
I could feel the heat from this collectors "fever". When he said "girlfriend"....the math got pretty damned easy... 😂
Exquisite examples
Justin has great taste in motorcycles. Particularly that CB 1000 Custom.
insane collection! does sadden me a little bit that those dirtbikes never seen the dirt, he can do whatever he wants to do with them i guese!
That red white and blue xl 600 💯👍😋😋😋that would be a daily for me for sure
Love that 86 red white and blue XL Honda
Dam Skippy straight, this man's 20+ Year bikes are nicer than my 2 year old rides.
No doubt, very impressive! Pure passion! Eric in NC. 😉
You guys are awesome. .. keep moto strong ... great job
