I am glad to see your Faith. I made a short video of something really Big. Bro, you are Lite up to see those bikes. And it is contagious. I have my 1982 Magna V45 all part in my garage. Trying to find the right Carb Kits for it, got 2 but still not mine. Need those o-rings. l see you like the Magna's as well. Still have to make more of the Big video then I can get back t bike stuff. Should show your Paster the video. Had my Magna since 1984 but knew the owner that bought it new. On the MX400B, still getting all the engine parts in a box to bring to engine builder. Then it will be another Original Yamaha MX400B.

I grew up 2 places down from our local Honda shop, so got to sit on / ride a LOT of 80s machines..
I remember the Honda Big-Wheels and years later, the Honda Cub [Mopedish looking w/ wide tires]
Years later I got my 1st TW-200, and then got a Fat-Cat. Ahhh man that thing was fun!
Here we are.. years later.. 2 more TW200s later, and the plan was to 'wide-tire- the TW's front end also..

You're talking about the Honda cub EZ90. Those things were sick! We had one when I was a kid and wish we didn't sell it. 2 stroke and rode similar to a dirtbike. We used it in the woods all the time and it was a blast. ! Nothing like the ugly old Cubs like what Kap pulled out of the trailer in this video with no seat.

Even though this particular batch didn't seem to have as many nice bikes as what James normally brings you, they had some very special bikes like the Penton and 1980 YZ, that were gorgeous!
What a fun video! I did not know about that American-made dirt bike or the Christmas special Honda Z50. First motorcycle I had was a Honda Z50 a. Hardtail!

And I can't stress loud enough restoring all the kids toys from 60s 70s and 80s to their exact perfection, may not be entirely profitable but it's the most honorable thing you can do Ken to respect our sport and why we keep coming back... And it's all about attention to detail showing exactly how it was that put the spark in the eyes of the young when it was all about a young person's dreams that was going on for each one of those museum pieces from mini to mighty.. all these relics represent the test of time that should be preserved as best way it's possible.... You can't save the world but you can save the idea for all the world to know of what is possible past present and future
Just had a brain fart what you should be doing with all these extra unobtainium parts from the past is scanning them into software that can be used on a 3D printer for future use like that air box for an example probably fits other models in and around that same era as storage software would be priceless and a very good tool to have in your business of what you do the best and can remain forever as what museums are for.... And by the way there are now 3D printers that print metal parts ready for usage.. and now at prices affordable for the average hobbyist meaning that you can afford one Ken ... For example there was one large enough the other day to print the metal parts to build about any single cylinder motorcycle engine transmission combination let the price of was about $4,500 bucks that doesn't take long adding up all the pieces involved to build a complete any brand of anything needed to do what you do and I'm surprised Jay Lino does it own one already if he doesn't own one today.... The best I've seen from Jay Leno's garage is that he does only regular 3D printer that will stand and make plastic models of any parts he needs that he uses to take two machine shops and have a metal version of the same part ready for which is also something that you could use. As we both know they're a lot of plastic parts to restoring a dirt bike
.. and today with today's technology in plastic restoring a dirt bike can also mean it's reliability can be improved still maintaining the aesthetics with more useful practical reliable and safer operating under today's technology
... For example as I just now googled 3D printing in metal and this is the first one that came up for an example only as the market is flooded and will have to be researched for your best choice for the money not that you can't afford any of them but every penny counts as extra can be put into the buildings to keep a roof on at the very least... So here's one that starts out at 4,800 bucks is a small price to pay for unobtainium that this machine can spit out on a daily basis... Keep your ears on and dailed up, Ken information can be priceless and cheap at the same time

And like you have nothing else to do with your "spare time" get yourself a course in metallurgy and learn the basic skills of why certain parts are made from certain alloys that is the only reason why they are built in such fashions... For example learn why certain alloys of aluminum are used in place of others that would seem to be better but is never the case... Take aftermarket ring and pinion gears for your favorite hot rod rear axle as it doesn't matter whose name brand is on the box it is the materials choice of metallurgy used so those rear end gears exist under the demanding factors in the environment which they are intended to be used. That's what you will find as it boils down to one particular alloy and process to machining to finish product has to be maintained or those Ford Motorsport or any other brand of gears in your $aleen mustang would have never survived... I was asked one time the difference between S&S crankshaft and rods versus Harley-Davidson crankshafts and rods... This question was asking me by a man whose brother worked at a foundry in Chicago and all they did was making connecting rods and crankshafts for two different companies..
As I was informed that about half of the products from this boundary when she won or the other as the alloys used for exactly the same from one melting pot so if you are able to 3D print in metal knowing the basics of metallurgy can mean the difference between success and failure.... As it is today you don't have to be a rocket scientist to own and fly one

Mr. Kaplan, One of the BEST bikes I ever owned was the Honda XR650R. The bike was designed and built by Honda to win the Baja 1000. And it did, many times. I don't remember the year of mine. Perhaps it was 2003. I installed a simple jet kit to enrich the mixture and the foot long spark arrestor removed per Honda for increased performance. They had a screen, around the size of a beer can, with a Honda part number that went in the spark arrestors place inside the end of the exhaust. The jet kit had a Honda part number as well. I suggest you try and find one of these, in good shape, just to experience a true race factory four stroke. This was an extraordinary bike for sure that I wish I still owned. Try to find one!

As a kid an teen in the 90s even my brother an I would find old bikes for my uncle that had a motorcycle shop in Bedford County in PA. Trailers full of all these bike u have now. He still has a barn full of part's and some are those bikes I got for free at times. God bless you guys saved these awesome bikes!!
