We’re Marianne and Chris, a married couple from the UK. After some life changing events we decided that life was just too short. We sold all our belongings, bought an old Campervan & rented our house to travel full time. The aim is to attempt to visit every country in the world in either our van or with a backpack. We started videoing our travels for our family and then decided it was a wonderful way to document and share our adventures.
Our latest adventure started in January 2020 when we left the UK in an attempt to drive our van all the way around the world. Let the adventures continue.

I got to say that Turkey draw the winner when You two were stranded there. I am sitting here dreaming about a vacation in Turkey now, every day :)

I love Pide sooo much, they are absolutely delicious...Spinach & Feta are my favourite 😋
Turks use Turkish white cheese in Pide , not feta :)
@@canparem2710 I'll have to see if i can source that. I try and make them at home but they are never as good 😫
@@lorrainequinn , yes you are right , if you are abroad , you can not find Turkish white cheese easily but I think feta is popular in Europe and feta can be used instead of Turkish white cheese , I am sure that you are skilfull making pide , bon appetit :)
@@canparem2710 I subscribe to 'Refika's Kitchen' she makes amazing Turkish food, she's taught me all i know 😊 I'm in Scotland, just checked to see if i can get anything here, i can Sutdiyari white Turkish cheese, i'm going to try that next time 💖

I love Kas, me and my wife go alot in the summer from our home in Antalya. It's really one of the coolest and chilled places you can ever visit. One thing I will say about Kaputas beach, is in summer it is a massive sun trap also. In the height of Sumner it is incredibly hot on that beach

I am surprised you didn’t have more lahmacun as a substitute of Gozleme! Usually you stuff it with veggies and greens of your choice and a splash of lemon. You can order a spicy one.

Hey Chris this one for Marianne....if you visit our home in Boston ...you will be greeted by Lambchop in our front garden...she is only six year old cat (26pounds) allergic to dieting.....very kind and friendly...lives with her three older rescued sisters.

My second best town. I love the the harbour area and the restaurants in the square. kalkan is the villa where I stayed but almost everyday came here.

In case anybody wonders Meis island is only 1.9 km away from Turkey while it is 550 km away from Athens so it is pretty heated debate between Turkey and Greece as Greece defends it should get full 200 nmiles EEZ while reducing Turkish EEZ significantly while Turkey defends it should only get 12 nmiles EEZ. Similar islands such as French islands next to Canada have reduced EEZ, Finland's islands next to Sweden both have reduced EEZ and territorial waters, British islands next to France have both reduced EEZ and territorial waters so i will leave it for you to decide who is right...
