I was super happy, following all instructions up til 'feed your rope through the knot' around 9 minutes....you only show it, you don't explain where the rope is going...and you do it super fast so even with pausing the video it is very hard to see where you put your rope end. A bit more explanation would be great (like most crochet videos that have some slo-mo and zoomed-in parts)
I'm sorry to hear that. What you basically do there is adding this to the knot that is already there. So from a knot made out of 1 rope you make it a knot out of 2 ropes, just by following the rope that is already there. To do this correctly is basically just watching closely that the ropes follow exactly the same track throughout the knot. I hope this explains a little what I was doing there.
How did your rope halter turn out? Let me know in the comments!
Thank you SO much, that darned fiador knot was driving me crazy!
You're welcome! I know right, the fiador is still killing me sometimes and then I watch my own video to see how to actually do it ;)
Halter made simple. Thanks for sharing this knowledge.
You're welcome!
Best video for a rope halter I have found on TH-cam. Very well explained, had no troubles following the tutorial. Very happy😀😀😀😀
Thanks! I even use it myself when I have not done it in a while, just to double check on that fiador knot ;)
I've been searching on TH-cam for 2 hours now, this has been the best tutorial, and I'm going to try it on my horse!
Thanks! I'm glad you find it useful.
What type of horse do you have?
@@WoodenShoesHomestead I have a thoroughbred.
Then this size should be able to fit your horse too :) Let me know how it worked out!
