- Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up.
Danni @The NICHE Lady and I shopped a Goodwill we don't often visit! Thrift with me as I find amazing treasures for resale on Ebay.... learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf and why. I found Mexican pottery, a uranium glass McKee top hat, Lenox champagne flutes and a huge plush Mother Goose!! I’m amazed at how quickly you identified that “Italian pottery pitcher” 😊! I’d have to pull out my phone and next thing I know two hours have gone by while I “look” things up 😂😂

The apple is a recipe card holder. I used to have one in the 90's.
I find it funny, sort of equating thrifting to Goldilocks and the 3 bears story, “it is too light, not quality, it is too heavy and would cost too much to ship, and finally this is just right, quality, heavy made and small enough to ship and the price is right”. Always enjoy watching you and Danni thrift. 😊

At. Andrew’s Abbey in Valyermo, Ca. Does amazing ceramics. You were spot on with Jonah and the Whale. Their pieces are very collectible and I have several in my own home. I am lucky it is a nice hour drive from me. The place is wonderful.- frannie

Delightful video. The flat, rubber things you thought were trivets, are actually pot covers. When your cooking or boiling water, those go on top of your cooking pot, and the vents in the top where the center decoration is, allows the stream to escape and keeps your pot of boiling over. They usually cost between $15-20.
I have one that was sold as a microwave splatter guard.
Yes, I was just going to Comment on those...not trivets...pot lids. Or bowl lids. I have a couple of large glass mixing bowls and if I want to put a big salad or fruit salad in it I cover the bowl with one of those. Especially to transport to a church meal.
They can also goin the oven and can tolerate high temperatures

Those silicone rubber looking things- the sunflower and grapes are lids. And very expensive new !
I have so many of the silicon lids. There dozens of styles and sizes. They can usually go in the oven to very high temps. I have used them on old Tupperware that no longer have lids. When used as a lid they will seal firmly. I love them.
Yes, mine are Charles Viancin. My large one is a lettuce style and I use it on my large glass mixing bowl. I can put a big salad or jello fruit salad in it and have the lid over it to take to church meals.

I wish they would have large clocks in the thrift shops here in Australia. I want one for my bathroom. I have a affinity for clocks. Awww, so love beautiful Bandit. Just add that extra love to your show 🥰

I've had a large clock on my list for a while now. I just passed through Denver, CO - I saw the largest Goodwill I've ever seen & I thought of you! We were on day 3 of driving & there was no way I was going to talk hubby into stopping.

I have an oil lamp that is over a 100 years old, it was my husbands parents. It has turned lavender . I love it.love your haul 🥰❤️

How do you and Niche lady cooperate in general? Are you getting your own treasures to sell when you shop together? What happens to the booth items? Comingled or separate ? Cost of rental? Staffing weekends? I, personally, would have to shop alone. Together, I would have to compete. Shopping opportunities there are wonderful. In Connecticut, they are few and far between.
Love all your videos. So informative about brands and weight... Sometimes I wish I could just reach in and grab a piece!! Clearly, different cities have better quality merchandise than others.

My goodwill prices go up 2 times.
I have a theory; I believe Goodwill hires people to sit & do comps while pricing items, which they received free thru donations. I also have a problem w/ their CEO making a 6 digit salary.
You can't find anything for under $2.00
The CEO is why I do not donate to Goodwill. I give everything to women’s shelter thrift stores.
The are totally out of control with their prices. They have not even opened the changing rooms here in Phoenix area. And if you return something they only give you store credit. Rip off big time. And they price some used things for more than they cost new. ••••• If you tip the cart back and just roll it on back wheels the pole will go right under the top of door frame. LOL! Works best when you have someone to open door for you though.

Hello:) The rubber sunflower and cabbage or lettuce pieces are also used to cover a dish, bowl or pan and form a suction when you place them on top as a lid or cover. So, they don’t fall off and keep your food hot or covered for protection!
I came here to say the same thing! I have one and it is perfect for keeping in a bit of heat after mashing potatoes! They are durable and easy to wash!
Also nice for a picnic table to keep flies, etc away from the potato salad, etc
If the old radio print is still there I would take it for my vintage bedroom.

The leaf and sunflower are pan lids or lids. You lay on the pan instead of glass lid. Makes cooking airtight
