I can’t believe you had to put a disclaimer out here because people in the comments criticize you for what you missed or what you didn’t know!! I’m so amazed that they are so knowledgeable on everything in the world!! Good for them! I certainly don’t! Guess it’s a Karen thing, from this Karen to you, I find you quite amusing and love watching your thrifting videos, I learn so much and always let out a good laugh! Thank you
Maybe they are just video watchers? But then, people need something to complain about. I love Karen. She is so organized, informative, and such a caring person.
I apologize if any of my comments come across as critical. I learn so much from you, Karen, and sometimes I try to add to the knowledge or humor. I know that comments ultimately help your success as a content maker and I enjoy cheering on your success.
Please PLEASE never apologize! You are killing it and we love you to pieces! ❤ I find myself laughing and/or smiling all the way through your videos. Who could ask for more?!❤
Don't worry about people saying you are missing things, because lady , you are doing GOOD with what you find ❤ Love your videos. Lots of love from Finland 🤗
Hi Karen the tray you picked up is a vintage Currier and Ives Seasons Heating Tray - and Yes I was telling you that even though I knew you couldn't hear me lol
OMG! Who are these people who complain, whine, and want to be so controlling? FYI - Karen doesn't have to film! She's doing us a favor and inviting us along. So, please, stop it already!!!!
Oh karen, please don't apologize for missing something. Don't listen to viewers who are going to be critical my goodness, look at all the advice and entertainment you give us❤
I sure could’ve used them this last weekend. I was without power for close to 30 hours. Thank God, I have a candle obsession, lol. I had enough to burn to help keep me warm & bring water to almost a boil. The oil lamps would’ve really helped!
Karen & Roger, you've become my Sunday tradition of drinking coffee & doing my nails😄 Thank you for saving all those treasures & giving them new homes!
Some comments can be considered "constructive criticism," and if presented in a considerate manner, can be used for learning purposes. But others are just downright mean spirited and may be purposely hurtful. THOSE comments need never see the light of day!
I like how you slowly go through a store and patiently look at items to determine quality and resale value. Your voice is soothing and sounds like a smile! Thank you for being so entertaining and knowledgeable.
Love watching you shop. You have an eye for great quality products and things people will like. Never worry about what others think. You’re doing a great job of flipping things. Let them Have their own channel! You and Roger are delightful!
1:35 We all buy things we like for resale. If no one ends up buying it, it has to be something you enjoy seeing everyday. I actually love seeing you learn new things along the way.
Thank you so much for sharing your shopping trips, You and Roger are Awesome and you are doing a fantastic job .Thank you again From Northern California 😊.
Oooo so many cool things. Don’t worry about it not being an expert in everything! No one can know everything. On the single mugs… I have 4 Starbucks mugs that didn’t sell as a set but when I gave the quantity option I immediately sold three of them to different people 🤷🏻♀️
Heyyy Karen & Roger!!! I 💙 Watching y'all! Gosh, Our G'will has no 2$ days. No nothing anymore. Not even 10% off Senior Citizen Monday's Anymore. I think they have a Veteran's discount still. They used to have A Teacher's & Like a Nursing discount. But ... not sure anymore. Y'all have Wayyy better Discounts than Our Goodwill. I think it makes it lots more fun with the discounts & Everything. Anyways, I 💙💙💙 you Guys! Happy Hunting! 😊
The thing that aggravates me about GW is they get EVERYTHING free. How many companies get their products for free to resell them? But they can’t give you a discount. 🤷🏻♀️
I was screaming to you……”put those glass pieces into that wicker basket!!” Hahaha. I also grab a thick sweatshirt or blanket whatever to rest items on in my cart then just leave it behind!!😄
Karen, you have NO reason to apologize! I thoroughly enjoy your videos. In fact you are probably my very favorite. Love it since you and Roger got married as you bring smiles as you interact.
Yea, & watching you at home. Then driving along in the car. Lol Then going in GW & Shopping. It's weird bc Im seeing things I thought I had that was maybe rare & suddenly it's on a shelf every where y'all go. Lol...that's happening a lot. So I know what to donate now or sale. Its fun to see what each one finds. & Then ..just everything. It's especially Nice seeing those Burgers & Fries in that lil cup. & Then stopping by your booth ...it's Really nice! Wow-- that's living the Good life right there! I'm so happy for you guys! 💙😊💙
Goodwills in my area do not offer $2 Tuesday. Wish they did. Color tag day with 50% off is Tuesday & Thursday is 25% off for seniors. Veterans, healthcare worker, firemen & police. They quit offering 50% day for kids items
Karen, I really love watching your videos for a number of reasons. Firstly, you don't pretend to know everything about everything, secondly, you never pick up trash because "someone will buy it anyway", thirdly, you explain what you look for in an item, fourthly, you are fair in your pricing. I used to watch someone that would go to flea markets, yard sales and thrift stores to find good items to sell for a profit (which is the idea behind everything) ... that same person NOW seemingly spends about 1/2 of their time FRANTICALLY shopping at the Goodwill bins, throwing anything and everything in their bag; giving their viewers/buyers the impression that quality isn't important for selling to them. ... and Fifthly because you have Roger! It is clear that he doesn't do this for videos, he is doing this as a resell opportunity! He doesn't even prefer to be on camera. It would be an interesting video to follow Roger through his shopping for one day to hear what he is looking for, why he picks up the items that he does and ultimately what he is able to list/sell them for. You two are so respectful and loving to each other, I am so glad you found each other; you both scored!
Love that you r so diplomatic in your purchases….as a picker years ago I learned if it doesn’t have decorative value it ain’t worth it…I mean how many people r collecting for historical reasons….few of course not many! Keep on doin what u r doing you’ve a great eye for decor & guality! 👏👍🏼oliver
Really love your channel. :) Sadly, as of TWO WEEKS AGO, many Goodwill stores (at least in OHIO) have NOW discontinued the 50% OFF the COLOR of the WEEK and REPLACED it with $5 OFF of $30, $10 OFF if you spend $60 and $15 if you spend $90 or more. It's a corporate decision. I verified this with the cashier there. It's PERMANENT. :( I guess a lot of people complaining though. She said they are seeing much more of an uptick in merchandise going to the bins instead. I imagine the price PER POUND will go up there as well. Do you see any of these changes where you live? Also prices are really being driven UP in these Goodwill stores lately to the point of sticker shock, considering they get them for nothing.
I know the wheat design may not be desired by many but I love it, my grandmother had it, and I inherited some pieces. I pick up pieces when I find it and it's not damaged.
Waterford crystal almist always has a 16 arm starburst on the bottom of their items. I can't believe you can get a burger, fries and drink for $5.00!! They aren't making much money on that deal!
I just found you Karen and I LOVE your content!! The Goodwills in my area have clearance sales on Sunday and Monday. $.99 clothing and $.39 wares. I live near Dubois Pa and I visit 4 to 5 stores in my vicinity all the time. Keep thrifting I hope you find your treasure!!
the copper items are not a set. The large one is to put match sticks or kindling that they used to stick in the fire, then use the "stick" to light candles...
Nice chairs and antique mirror and cutting board. I generally don't pick up heavy glass. The copper piece is unique. I Enjoyed the video. I've had ice cream from that back in the 60s...
You do a great job picking items. It's hard to see everything when the isles are so loaded with goods. I know it's easier said than done, but don't worry about the complainers. They will always find something to complain about. Your a beautiful soul who knows a little about a lot.. Stay positive friend!
Plz... Take Rog's arm when you walk across that icy roadway... lamp next to vase was awesome, I have those Currier and Ives prints, I change out w seasons, so pretty... in a year of buying $ 2.50 isn't a profit killer, get that vase, heavy is quality. Your booth is a fantastic stop gap to big and heavy things! I love it.
I just look forward to your new video !! You have such great shopping in PA ! Ours offer no discounts here in NC. When I'm in TX, they still have 25% off color of the week then it goes to 50% . But in TX, I find some amazing stuff. Most one offs but I'm very happy to shop in TX. This May I'm going shopping in FL for a week and back to TX for 2 weeks in June. Have a blessed day ! P.S. loved the chairs made in Italy !
I just love your channel and your husband is so so cute! What a nice looking couple u make! So much fun taking us along like this! I wish I knew more what to look for, when I'm in the Goodwill's lol Thanks so much for taking us along and sharing!
So excited to see what you find tomorrow for your 12-hour shopping trip are you going to do all weekend or just one full day tomorrow? Wonder about the value on those chairs they are beautiful
People will always criticize but don't let them to bother you. Keep doing what you feel is right and forget about those that does not appreciate it. I always tell myself that I'm not a 100 dollar bill to be liked by everybody. As long as you feel good with yourself that is what really matters.
Noooo apologies! You are so fun to thrift with!!! Via YT! I was in GW this weekend and said to my husband, Karen would definitely buy this! You’ve taught me alot!
Great video as always 🤗❤️❤️ I just love Roger 🤗 you can tell he is such a kind spirited man 🙏 I'm so happy you we're blessed to find someone so special. Y'all compliment each other so well 🙏❤️❤️❤️
I just started thrifting for “new” to me home decor however, I’m hearing the prices are increasing due to people selling online. I’m still happy when I find something cool for in my home. I am a big fan of donating what I don’t use and hope someone else likes your donatated items.
I love Roger, he is such a polite man and that smile! Karen you are so lucky to have found him and he is lucky to have you! You both are so kind and sweet! I love you both and love all your videos! That’s so cool you have a booth now. Another outlet for your goodies! ❤️
Love your channel and have purchased several things from you. Only thing that probably drives only me nuts is when you put that clear glass vase back on a random shelf instead of returning to clear glass.
With the placement of the cord, and what looked like "legs" on the back, I thought the "four seasons" item was a warming tray. The copper "cup" item brought to mind, for me, something you'd use to rope down into a well to bring up water, with two drinking cups....NO experience with it whatsoever....but, that's what I thought. Nice Haul.
Karen, I don't ever want to hear you apologize for what you do or don't do anymore! You are the best at your job. You can only do what you think is right for you and your business. Don't ever listen to those asshole naysayers. You have more fans than enemies. 😊
I Love watching you shop. That vintage brass lamp you looked at when you first entered the store looks very expensive. I saw another reseller buy a similar one that sold for over $200. If it's still there tomorrow, you should comp it. ❤
I was so curious-I had to look up that 4 seasons item! It’s a Currier &Ives “warming tray”-one of the more bizarre things I’ve seen!😂 Love your videos!
Don't listen to the critics. Nobody knows everything. Besides, maybe they THINK they just know everything. What sells for one person doesn't always work for others.
Even vs Odd Numbers in Sets & Groups: here in the US we’re used to seeing items retailed in even numbers: 2, 4, 6, 8 and even 12, but when we lived in Japan it was more common to find sets of 3 & 5 pcs in their local retail stores. They would however, package items for export, in even numbered sets.

Hi Karen the tray you picked up is a vintage Currier and Ives Seasons Heating Tray - and Yes I was telling you that even though I knew you couldn't hear me lol
I'm glad you toldUs what it was because I couldn't see how it would light up or not. Is it worth anything of value?
I have one of those heating trays some where in my garage “hiding in a box”. Will it ever see the light of day?
I don't think much maybe $25@@peppiholliday4525

Kerosene lamps are great prepper items to have if loss of power.

Oh gosh Karen, I don't even need to follow you around for a day. I know it is a ton of work and it keeps you hopping.
Totally agree! Can’t believe some viewers criticize. Appreciate the information she gives ❤
Whole new ballgame with booth space. The shelves could be double duty. So much fun watching ya'll. 😅
You are my favorite shopper!!! I look forward to every post. Love how happy you and Roger are! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Great video Karen. I just love your booth. Looks amazing..

I have those exactly baskets in fact, I have two of them I got them from Goodwill
$19.99 for the orange mug. Looks like bee wax. Enjoyed it.
