Listen up folk's ... This is what REAL music is. Not the Crap they push off on calling it music. O' how I would love to go back to the 60's and 70's. May God bless and keep you. Jim
We need a renaissance of Pop Country, but don't know if it will ever happen. The "new traditionalists" have had the stage for the past 30+ years, with their singing through their noses hillbilly style crap .. unfortunately ..
Greatness. The guy in the donut shop about 1978 corner of Henderson and Alcott street in Dallas had this playing on the radio every time i went in for donuts.
She sounds as good here live as she did on the studio recording. Not many singers can do that, not counting when they fake it by lip syncing to the studio recording, which she definitely isn't doing here.
Jeannie was prettier in person, I met them, not long before this was filmed. Last time i seen them. I am surprised they made it to the filming; this was right after that 77 / 78 winter snow storm.
Dear Lord....please transport me back to the 70's....I don't like 2022. Excellent music...real freedom...good times.
amen
And common sense.
Yes no "f" words then like most songs today from Mackay coffs harbour
Me too.

Bring back the Kendall’s and HEE HAW!
Take me too...I'm 72. The 70's had the music.
I was 9 years old in 78... Didn't know what the song was saying. Now at 53, I look back and smile.
same here buddy,..i was 7,.i loved it immediately,...and was clueless,....the brilliance of their songs,...like pittsburg stealers !!!
This is awesome.
I sure miss old Hee Haw.
They are a GREAT pair - father and daughter - and GREAT COUNTRY singers - LOVE all their music!
These were golden 70's for a reason
Way back then I "fell in love" with someone who was out of bounds - it was mutual. This song was on the radio constantly - said it all for me
The 2 part harmony,male/female,is as good as can be with this pair..just perfect, not overdone.. effortlessly tight.
so much better than the crap of today
She can sing!
My mom loved this song. I remember it to a te .
I can't imagine singing this with my dad. I love the way their voices sound.
Right?! Odd song choice for a father and daughter to sing together. Glen Campbell and his daughter also sang this song.
I love their harmony........man oh man, it's great.
i grew up on that song , loved it
Mama and I use to sing this in the car when I was a kid, I'm about to be 50 next week and she has dementia. Memories 😢
Daughter and father…instantly like this song when it came out
A bygone era. She's so into the song she's singing. Raw talent- Pure gold!
Had just started second grade and always remembered this on radio in kitchen before catching the bus
Loved their sound then and now🎈🎈🎈 Thank God for the radio was my favorite

Still remember these Classic hits songs though years. On radio stations and on tv shows this one them. Thank You
Thank you.
Pure,gold all the way.
The 70s were the best times and for music to
True
Ah, the good ole days. Thanks for sharing.
Always strange daughter and dad singing this together lol but still great
It's only strange to the younger generation that doesn't know if you're a man in a woman's body or visa versa! Common sense has been vilified! 😳
@@georgehall1614 Oh so you and your dad sing this to each other? Nothing weird about that. (Snaps fingers ) 🎵 Heaven's just a sin away 🎶
Very enjoyable! 🕊
Love it!! :-)
So good
I like the way she dressed, my mom loved this song
The Best Music 🎶🎶 Ever
I remember watching this performance as a little kid. I love this song.
She's cute! Love her eyes.
I love this song
A VERY BEAUTIFUL SONG
Great video, amazing vocals but you have to marvel at the clothes we had back in the '70s. "Country Pimp" maybe?
Love her voice. I can picture myself driving my 72 Pinto back then and hearing this pouring from
my Philo AM radio
Father and daughter, awesome.
I love this song. But, No way I would sing this song with my daughter. The Kendall’s were a father daughter team!
Glen Campbell and his daughter also sang this duet. I think it's a little strange for a father and daughter to perform this song.
Virtually every song they sang was about cheating,...sex....a lil strange but dang they were good
just so beautiful WOW
Yeah!!!!🇺🇸🎸👍🏻🎶
It awesome
if you were anyone you were on hee haw
I love this
Great stuff
blessings always

Still holds up without the synth bass part.
I wonder if they toured with a synth, played to a tape or did it like this on tour?
Still Listening 2022

I've always liked Shinia Twains music
So very true but Hell is a Sin Away.
Sorry for the infringe on your privacy. Lovely song.how is everything!
I don’t think this is about cheating
OH OH LOVING SONG JUST YES🌹VELVET🌈
Devil's got me now....Alabama...2024, i think i'm giving in.....
Amen David Burman
She could pass for Elvis girlfriend Linda Thompson
Yes! I thought she looked familiar. You're right.
@@maryspencer6997 I had to do a double take 😀

@@mrcoldshower2823 wow. That’s so cool. I remember that snow I was 10 in that time 77/78. Thanks for that cool reply . 🤩
Jeannie Kendal wonder what she's doing today
Jeannie lives in Missouri now, I think. They were originally from there: the Ozarks. Think she still performs in Branson.
Most girls where loyal to Jesus but they where tempted to mingle with a boy or man that they liked
I’d like to go back to the 50s & 60s no other time was better
