When you were mentioning how much of a problem the stetman ultras were, i was thinking "yeah, ultras just wreck marines, the high armour makes em deal next to no damage...... he needs a hyperion". And amazingly, he got a hyperion, started to beat stetmans wave, and mengsks wave had nothing to stop your apocs dealing 100 damage a hit to the base.
I'm just imagining Stukov's Apocs vs Stetmann's and Dehaka's ultras as that classic big boi meets bigger boi matchup where in the One side, you have the sleek, electronic, shiny Stetmann ultras and the primal, brutal, organic look of Haka's ultras needing to team up vs the bigger, lumbering, bulkier, walking Armageddon mixture of Terran and Zerg that is the Apocalisk on the other side. A pretty cinematic sight to behold
my man, you just have taken a huge decision, i hope you manage that well. i want to say that you have to take inconsideration that obviously it will be hard to "adapt" to the new environment and it will take you a few weeks until that happens, until then resist dude, hope you do it well.
With a seasonal business, every off-season is a survival battle. And one that has already been decided when the season ends. It is only a mater how soon you realize that you already lost.
It is possible you can get them while a marine is spawned. Like while Stetman has a mechaling on the field from reconstructing mechabanes, he does unlock ling upgrades.
In the late game, why didn't you put down infested marines instead of the civi between the apocs? I understand you didn't want to transition into bunkers, but some marines with fire would have helped take the sky wave down sooner so ground isn't as abandoned. Thats my thought anyway

The apoc flamethrower is an upgrad obtained by leveling up in coop that allows the aoe of it's main attack to do double damage
