@@jackstacey7519 That's good. The Archtop Acoustic-Electric 12/6 String is a cool tool. They should have a new 14/7, 16/8, 18/9, & even 20/10, etc double neck extended range versions for more versatility.
I've been wanting a double neck so I can have the 12 string in "stratosphere" tuning for that pedal steel sound. I think you're right on his tuning, he's using some variant of that here.
Brian is at a higher level of guitar playing. His technique & skill level is far beyond most guitar players no matter what genre! Eddue Van Halen loved jamming with him.
This video along with a few other recordings of 12 string acoustic and electric guitars has made me realize that 12 strings are extremely capable for playing at fast tempos with a lot of notes. I have played 12 string acoustics before but made the incorrect assumption that they mostly used for a strummy strummy technique when really they are more than capable for fingerstyle, chicken pickin and faster tempos.
