Wow that was a eye opener! 90 day payment terms? I thought they would give you at least 30% up front to produce the goods. What happens if they change their minds or something? Sounds like a big risk...
A year ago we were experiencing all these challenges when I was still working for a smart home company. This is super on spot. We were too confident and wanted to launch into retail after we launched the product within a year. We had to close down our operations after one year even though we got into Best Buy, Target, within 6 months…..no sell through only sell in 😂
Awesome video. I've always gone back and forth with selling my products to small mom&pop brick and mortar. Over the last two years I have made a list all of them that have reached out. I think there is still plenty of room to grow B2C and this video is validating this.
Points taken. My partner and I were just discussing about this topic few days ago. We shall come back and check these points out once in a long while.
Very Good Info - Thanks
The answer for me is yes, only locally.
You read my mind. I was just thinking about this topic this morning.
Perfect timing I guess 😂

Retail can be tough! Thanks for the comments.
@@SpencerJan definitely lesson learnt there. Focus on building a DTC brand first and then think about channels when the time is right :)
