Its feels crazy to still see videos of people climbing over loads to secure heavy tarps. Europe has been using curtainsiders for decades, after strapping the load you simple walk the curtain down the side of the trailer and tension it up! I don't think you'd find many truckers willing to swap their curtainsiders for a flatbed and tarps! There is also a class with a retracting roof so you load with a crane/gantry.
Oh I wish we all had curtain sides here ! There are some curtain sides on the roads and they are nice. I am always jealous when I am tarping and they just close that top up and roll !

I pick up the same load a few months ago in Minnesota going to Virginia pretty easy load
Yes it ended up being pretty easy once I got over the ‘breaking glass’ fear hahaha . Good people too very helpful.
