Mountains are beautiful everywhere but my favorite mountain of all Tennessee Lookout mountain.❤ALABAMA so many songs that touches everyones heart. My son was 12 at the time Tennessee Highway heading to Ocoee . what did i do driving across the bridge TN river put in a Alabama cassette TN river. would do the same mountain music any site mountains God's gift of beautiful to us.. sorry going overboard with my words.( Kansas is where Im from its somewhere over the rainbow but flat and beautiful. Theres no place Like Home where ever you Live..❤

And of course, Rocky Mountain High will not fade away because that's it's Birth name bestowed upon the Football stadiums entrance for everyone to take notice whenever they come to visit our incredible city and surrounding places to visit and explore and enjoy anytime of the year.

Just took my pre-employment drug test for Melton. Waiting on results and orientation date. Glad you made it through all that. Hope I do too!

What are the PPE requirements for training and for full time driving?
They have all the PPE except for the steel toe boots. They give you a day or 2 to get some boots if I recall.
Are you going to be a trainer?
Sorry I am not a trainer but they have lots of good ones.

I have left Melton and am working at a trade school teaching now.
Watching your video as I’m riding the ground house bus home I made up my mind yesterday that I was done with the training I loved the experience learned a lot but flatbed just ain’t for me

Watching this now has me nervous as hell about getting sent home.. the work doesn’t scare me.. it’s the part when you said if you hit a cone they will send you home & if you don’t learn the logging that they will send you home
Yeh, they for sure sent some dudes home for the driving test and the time Logs. The driving isn’t too terrible and the logs are doable if you keep up with it. Just listen and learn from the log book mistakes the first few days, then work hard to get it right the last few days and you should be good. Good luck !

Its feels crazy to still see videos of people climbing over loads to secure heavy tarps. Europe has been using curtainsiders for decades, after strapping the load you simple walk the curtain down the side of the trailer and tension it up! I don't think you'd find many truckers willing to swap their curtainsiders for a flatbed and tarps! There is also a class with a retracting roof so you load with a crane/gantry.
Oh I wish we all had curtain sides here ! There are some curtain sides on the roads and they are nice. I am always jealous when I am tarping and they just close that top up and roll !
I pick up the same load a few months ago in Minnesota going to Virginia pretty easy load

Yes, usually it is all in the Qualcomm notes, but we got it figured out after a lot of looking! Usually it works out okay but sometimes it takes a little while.
Why did you go on the blind side?
I could not turn around to do a driver side. Too much weight on trailer and not enough room in the yard. Next time I’m parking the trailer wherever there is a good spot and let them figure it out.

How long does it normally take when using 3 tarps?
I’m getting it down to 1 to 1.5 hours for these easy loads like the lumber. It can take longer for the odd size loads or difficult loads. My first few tarp jobs took 3 hours ! It gets easier as you go.

Spred axles show no love when backing and always have to wide turn with them...but you can put some good weight on a spred axle for sure
