- In this video, I walk you through the process of repairing the front camera on an iPad Air 5. This repair is particularly challenging due to the lack of schematics. I share my approach for identifying the issue using only a multimeter and basic knowledge, without relying on advanced tools like an oscilloscope.
You’ll see how I measured and pinpointed the exact problem on the motherboard. Since I didn’t have a replacement component, I used a custom solution involving a bypass and jumper, which worked perfectly.
Finally, I explain the importance of honesty in sharing repair techniques. Instead of twisting the story, I show you the real process, proving that with the right skills and mindset, even beginners can solve complex motherboard issues.

First ❤😂 thanks for sharing master. As I remember those type c iPad very hard to fix charging circuit
with all respect ,i think we have to suspect voltages also ,because if any camera reset or enable voltage is failed how the slave respond to the master ,so if voltage is gone i2c will not work .right?
If that’s what your teacher taught you, it’s better to do your own experiments to understand it, rather than relying on me as an outsider to explain.
Using an I2C scanner is also a good starting point for your experiments.
